Tea Party Nation Drafts Declaration Of Independence
February 25, 2010
Tea Party activists are circulating what they call the “Tea Party Declaration of Independence,” a document meant to define the movement and establish its independence from Republicans.
Activist Bob MacGuffie stated that leading Tea Party activists came up with the idea while attending a meeting hosted by Freedom Works.
Among the statements made in this document are that the Tea Party movement will reject any attempts by the Republican Party to co-opt the movement, will work against any “RINO’s the GOP may nominate, as well as declaring their freedom from Democrats and members of the liberal media as well.
The Tea Party Declaration Of Independence is the second major set of ideals set forth by the Tea Party in recent weeks, the other being the Contract From America, which was unveiled at the recent Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), where conservative leaders presented the Mount Vernon Statement.
Andrew Breitbart Blasts Rachel Maddow At CPAC
February 19, 2010
Andrew Breitbart, the activist filmmaker behind the so-called ACORN pimp videos is attending CPAC, and he has some harsh words for one of his biggest critics, Rachel Maddow.
Upon learning that Maddow had made a surprise appearance at the Conservative political Action Conference, Breitbart, in an interview with POLITICO, took the opportunity to strike back at Maddow and her fellow unabashedly liberal journalists at MSNBC.
He took Maddow to task for a number of things, including her treatment of the Tea Party movement, Sarah Palin, and notably, James O’Keefe, who, along with Hannah Giles, secretly taped ACORN staffers on how to set up a child prostitution ring.
Despite Federal Funding Ban, ACORN To Receive Four Billion Dollar Earmark
February 12, 2010
Barack Obama hasn’t forgotten his old friends at ACORN.
In spite of President Obama’s pledge to freeze discretionary spending and reduce earmarks, ACORN stands to receive nearly four billion dollars in President Obama’s fiscal 2011 budget.
The money will come through a grant from the Department of Housing and Urban Development.
The embezzllement-prone organization will receive the funding in spite Congress last year passing a ban on federal monies being given to Acorn or any of it’s affiliated groups.
As I understand it, HUD doles out “block grants” to assist with community development needs.
Now before we go any further, let me try to put into perspective just how much a bliion dollars is, and keep in mind that ACORN stands to receive 4 billion:
If you spent one dollar every second of every hour of every day, to spend a billion dollars it would take you:
Thirty One Years
Two Hundred And Fifty Nine Days
One Hour
Forty Six Minutes
Fourty Seconds
So how will ACORN, an organization with a history of fraud, spend all of that money?
Well, some of it will surely go to pay staffers to offer advice on how to set up a child prostitution ring, as is shown in this clip from the Glenn Beck program:
Some of it might be spent on bribing members of the mainstream media.
Why do I think that may happen?
Watch the reaction of the MSM when the hidden camera interview of an ACORN staffer first broke:
They found one office where the people were stupid enough to give them this kind of silly advice.”
“It sounds to me like that’s just entrapment.”
“It’s entrapment.”
“They went to four offices and one took the bait.”
Someone must be bribing the members of the mainstream media!
It doesn’t matter if these people went to four offices or four hundred!
The bottom line remains that ACORN staffers advised someone on how to set up a child prostitution ring!!
Yet all that these pinheads are concerned about is that the people at ACORN might have been victims of entrapment.
The entrapment of children into becoming sex slaves they didn’t see fit to mention.
They might use some of the cash to influence the outcome of an election.
Some folks have asked did ACORN elect Al Franken?
So when they aren’t rigging elections, bribing the mainstream media, or offering advice on how to set up a child prostitution ring, how do these folks at ACORN spend their time?
Well, last April, I wrote an article in which I pointed out that with the help of the biggest group of supporters of Barack Obama’s presidential campaign and the organization that continues to travel across America promoting President Obama’s policies, Organizing For America, may be working hand-in-hand with ACORN to have their members infiltrate Tea Party events
With all of this going on, you would think that an article in a major newspaper about ACORN sowing the seeds of their own destruction would have put an end to them receiving any federal earmarks, however it appears that report was a bit premature.
So how is it that the folks at ACORN aren’t in jail, let alone receiving 4 billion of our tax dollars?
Well, first of all, the bully tactics of the White House work to silence anyone who attempts to investigate the group.
Anyone who has any doubt about President Obama’s previous ties to ACORN can take a look at this timeline and see that Obama’s twisted ACORN roots go back a long way.
Yet in spite of all of this, ACORN is in line for a four billion dollar federal earmark.
It pays to have friends in high places.
Especially the White House.

Tea Party Applauds Racist Remarks At Convention
February 8, 2010
The Tea Party movement seems to have found their head racist.
That’s the conclusion drawn by “unbiased journalist” Rachel Maddow of MSNBC.
And although I agree with her that making African-Americans take a literacy test as a means to keep them from voting was shameful, it is a thing of the past and she needs to get over it.
Tom Trancredo, on the other hand, makes an excellent point.
I, like Mr. Trancredo, have been advocating for years that people should be required to take a basic civics test before being allowed to vote, and I would add the requirement that the potential voter must not only have knowledge of where a candidate stands on particular issues, but if the candidates’ prior voting record reflects his or her current political rhetoric.
As far as restricting voting rights to people who can’t spell or speak the word “vote” in English, Mr. Trancredo and I are in complete agreement.
If someone is an illegal immigrant, they should not be allowed to vote.
And I don’t want to hear any self-righteous whining from you loony liberals, you know that it happens.
And for the immigrants who came to America in search of a better life for themselves and their children, if they don’t care enough about the country they felt was better than the one that they left to learn to speak, read and understand it’s native language, they they should not be given a voice on selecting the people who run it.

Democrats Cave In, Will Seat Scott Brown
February 4, 2010
It’s time for Teddy’s seat warmer to fing a new place to sit.
Sen.-elect Scott Brown of Massachusetts on Wednesday demanded to be seated immediately, saying that while he was set to be sworn in Feb. 11, there are a number of votes scheduled prior to that date — votes that, once he is seated, Republicans can defeat.
Democrats, seeking to avoid a prolonged battle over seating a duly elected senator, quickly assented.
In a letter from Mr. Brown’s attorney to Gov. Deval Patrick and Secretary of the Commonwealth William Galvin — both Democrats — Mr. Brown argued that the results of the special election in Massachusetts on Jan. 19 are not in doubt. While Senator-elect Brown had tentatively planned to be sworn into office February 11, he has been advised that there are a number of votes scheduled prior to that date, For that reason, he wants certification to occur immediately, wrote his attorney, Daniel B. Winslow. As he is the duly elected United States Senator from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, he is entitled to be seated now.
The lawyer asked that the results of the Jan. 19 special election be certified without delay and no later than 11 a.m. Thursday, in time to allow Senator-elect Brown to be administered the oath of office by the Vice President tomorrow afternoon. Hours before Mr. Brown’s demand, Mr. Galvin delivered official copies of the election results to the Governor’s Council. Mr. Patrick’s staff announced that the governor would sign Mr. Brown’s election certificate in the council’s presence — as is required by law — during a ceremony at 9:30 a.m. Thursday.
Sarah Barracuda Steps Into The Ring To Take On Dingy Harry
February 3, 2010
I wonder what “Dingy Harry” has planned for 2011?
Because if the Senate Majority Leader wasn’t already facing an uphill battle, as are most Democrats, for re-election in 2010, now he has the Tea Party Nation and Sarah Palin coming after him.
And she is called Sarah Barracuda for a reason.
Former Alaska governor Sarah Palin will headline a “tea party” rally next month in Searchlight, Nev., the home town of embattled Senate Majority Leader Harry M. Reid (D-Nev.), tea party movement organizers said.
Palin, who is delivering the keynote address at the National Tea Party Convention this weekend in Nashville, is stepping up her campaign activities for conservative activist groups this spring. The March 27 Nevada event will kick off the Tea Party Express’s 42-city bus tour, which will end April 15 with what organizers are billing as a major march on Washington. In addition to the Searchlight rally, Palin will headline a tour stop in Boston on April 14, said Mark Williams, chairman of Tea Party Express.
Reid responded to Palin in a statement to The Post: “Make sure you stop by the Nugget for a ten-cent cup of coffee with free refills — and make sure to say ‘Hi’ to Verlie.”
Democrats, Not “Birthers”, Asking If Obama Is Eligible To Serve
January 29, 2010
All of a sudden, Democrats, not “birthers”, are asking about Obama’s birth certificate.
During this year’s U.S. Senate races, it will be Democrats raising the issue of President Obama’s eligibility to occupy the Oval Office.
Politico reported Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee chief Robert Menendez is distributing a memo to U.S. Senate campaign offices stating Democrats need to demand that their opponents answer a series of questions, including, “Do you believe that Barack Obama is a U.S. citizen?”
The report said Menendez wants to use the questions to “frame” opponents and “drive a wedge” between moderates belonging to the GOP and those who have adopted the tea party standards advocating limited government, fewer regulations and more freedom for Americans.
The Democrat memo said, “Given the pressure Republican candidates feel from the extreme right in their party, there is a critical – yet time-sensitive – opportunity for Democratic candidates.
“We have a finite window when Republicans candidates will feel susceptible to the extremists in their party. Given the urgent nature of this dynamic, we suggest an aggressive effort to get your opponents on the record.”
MSNBC’s Chris Matthews Makes Racial Slur
January 28, 2010
Astroturfers
Nazis
Obstructionists
Tea Baggers
And the worst one of all:
Racists
What the members of the liberal mainstream media still don’t get is that we don’t disagree with President Obama’s policies because of the color of his skin, we disagree with President Obama because of his policies!
(The video may take a minute to load)
“I forgot he was black tonight, for an hour.”
OK Chris, does that meant that you spend the rest of your waking hours thinking about it?
“An African-American guy in front of a bunch of white people.”
And you call us racists?
A New Declaration Of Independence
January 28, 2010
This time, it’s a Declaration Of Independence from Obamacare.
The only thing missing was quills and powdered wigs.
Eleven House conservatives on Wednesday signed a “Declaration of Health Care Independence” at an event staged by Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.), and there was no shortage of Revolutionary War rhetoric and tea party references.
Rep. Todd Akin (R-Mo.) compared Scott Brown’s victory in Massachusetts last Tuesday to the battle of Lexington in April 1775. The congressmen signed their names at the bottom of the so-called declaration, which had been printed in a small font to mirror Thomas Jefferson’s calligraphy.
Rep. Trent Franks (R-Ariz.) noted that the signers of the original Declaration of Independence put their lives and property at stake. The Republicans who signed Wednesday afternoon appeared to be in no grave political danger, since they all have fairly safe seats.
“Last week Massachusetts fired another shot that was heard round the world,” Akin said. “Each of those shots were followed by various declarations. … The shot has been fired now twice in Massachusetts, and this is a declaration.”
The DNC Puts A $24,000 Bounty On Glenn Beck And The “Tea Baggers”
January 27, 2010
A few months back, I attended a dinner where Karl Rove was the featured speaker.
During his remarks, Mr. Rove stated his belief that those of us on the right should always try to have reasonable and cordial discussions on the issues separating liberals and conservatives.
Shortly afterwards, I wrote an article outlining the reasons why I disagreed with him. (You can read it here.)
My main point was that how can conservatives “play nice” when liberals will stoop to any level to further their agenda?
And after this latest sleazy tactic from the left, I’m thinking that maybe it’s time we conservatives starting playing by the liberal’s rules.
Help-wanted ads are appearing on Craigslist that offer to pay citizens $24,000 a year, plus health insurance, to “counter the hysteria and lies of Glenn Beck and other talking heads” and “stop the tea-baggers!”
The ads are being posted by Grassroots Campaigns, a canvassing group that has performed services for the Democratic National Committee and MoveOn.org. Its postings can be found among Craiglist listings in Chicago, Ill.; San Francisco, Calif.; Boston, Mass.; Philadelphia, Penn. and Austin, Texas.
“Whose agenda will win in 2010?” the ad asks. “You decide.”
