Who Wants To Get Together To Visit A Mosque?

November 12, 2009

I wonder if we could put together a group of people to visit New York City?

We wouldn’t actually visit a mosque, just gather around outside of one.

Specifically, the mosque on 96th Street.

That is where the Muslim “Brothers Of Revolution” have set up shop.

As you will see in the video, they have picked this area to spout off their anti-American drivel, and to foster terrorism against American citizens.

And, as we here at the Freedom Medium reported back in June. the citizens of New York City are too cowardly to do anything.

These radical Islamists want to preach terrorism, I think it’s time to show them what it is like to be terrified.

Because if a few hundred patriotic Americans were to suddenly come around the corner to discuss terrorism with them, the word would gain an entirely new meaning for them.

Imagine a member, past or present, of America’s military, someone from the Oathkeepers or the Patriot Riders, or any other patriotic American walking up to these goons one-on-one, standing directly in front of him, and saying:

“OK pal, I’m an infidel. Here I am. Go ahead and terrorize me.”

So, who’s up for a road trip?

Political Correctness Played A Part In The Fort Hood Shootings

November 8, 2009

I have never been one to be “politically correct.”

And I am not about to break the pattern with this article, so be forewarned.

There are two factors that led to the shooting rampage at Fort Hood.

One is political correctness, the other is a severely flawed U. S. military policy.

As far back as six months ago, the alleged Fort Hood shooter, Nidal Malik Hasan was brought to the attention of the FBI over suspected comments he had made on a website.

It is now coming to light that Hasan had also been known to make some of the same sorts of remarks to his fellow soldiers at Fort Hood.

Among these were such red-flags as:

Describing the U.S. Army as the aggressor in Iraq and Afghanistan.
“If one suicide bomber can kill 100 enemy soldiers because they were caught off guard that would be considered a strategic victory.”
It’s being said that he had compared a soldier who died smothering a grenade blast to “suicide bombers whose intention, by sacrificing their lives, is to help save Muslims by killing enemy soldiers.”

Now if both the FBI and the military both knew, or even suspected, that these were the beliefs of this man, why was nothing done about it?

Have we gone this far down the path of fearing being charged with ethnic profiling that we allow a man who appears to have radical Islamist ideals to be a member of our armed forces?

During a time of war, Hasan should have been investigated, brought up omn charges under the UCMJ (Uniform Code Of Military Justice, and dishonorably discharged.

President Obama has promised a full investigation of the circumstances that led to this tragedy, and I hope he starts with the chain-of-command at Fort Hood, and at any other military base where Hasan may have been stationed.

The second thing that was a direct factor in this tragedy is the idiotic U.S. military policy which does not allow the carrying of loaded weapons on base.

This is contrary to the policy of almost every military training facility in the world.

If the troops at Fort Hood had been allowed to carry the weapons that they train with, this would have had a much different outcome.

Instead, it took the brave actions of a civilian female police officer to bring an end to Hasan’s rampage.

What in the hell is wrong with this picture when the largest military facilty in the world has to contract out with a civilian police force to provide base security?

I am furious about what happened at Fort Hood for a number of reasons, but there are two that really hit close to home.

One is that a close family friend has a son stationed at Fort Hood, and we agonized for hours before learning that he was OK.

The other is that next May my daughter leaves for the Marine Corps Recruit Depot at Parris Island.

Up until now, I have felt somewhat secure for her safety in knowing that the odds are highly against her being assigned to a front-line combat unit.
At least that is the policy right now.

Now I am left with the thought that, in spite of receiving the finest traing that the U.S. military has to offer. i have to fear for her safety while she is still stateside?

President Obama and I agree on almost nothing he proposes.

If he were to overturn this ludicrous policy prohibiting uniformed personel from carrying loaded weapons on-base, for that measure he would have my fullhearted support.

I am hoping that, not just for the sake of my daughter, but for the sake of all of the brave men and women who serve in our military, that in this day and age of war and terrorism, the least we can do is allow them the means to protect themselves.

Update: Late Breaking News: Fort Hood Shooter Had Links To 9-11 Terrorists

What Do Martin Luther King, Barack Obama, Elvis Presley And 9-11 Have In Common?

September 11, 2009

Today marks eight years since one of the darkest days in American history.

And I have spent days agonizing over what would be appropriate to commememorate the events of that faithful day.

There will be millions of people doing the same thing today.

Myself, I am not a professional speechmaker, I am just a simple man who loves his country.

I still get a tear in my eye when I hear the playing of the national anthem.

I also know that, no matter the platitudes or the placating gestures our President makes, there are still many people who desire nothing more than the utter destruction of this land that I love.

And that pretty speeches and needless apologies aren’t going to change that.

President Obama, please listen to the words of two of my favorite people of all time, and come to understand something.

The dream of everyone in the world living in peace, while the world is filled with people who are bent on our country’s destruction, is just that.

A dream.

President Obama, your primary duty as President is to take whatever steps that are necessary to be sure that we never see a repeat of those images.

Your primary duty as a human being is to see to it that never again does someone feel compelled to make a video such as this one:

Obama Designates Sept. 11th As National Socialism Day

August 26, 2009

We don’t need to rehash the events of September 11th, 2001.

All true Americans have their memories of that fateful day, and remember it in their own ways.

As the anniversary of 9-11 approached, some pinhead member of Congress made a motion that the day be made a national holiday.

For once, common sense prevailed, once it was pointed out to this moron that it was not proper to honor the memories of the people who lost their lives that day with a day off from work and a backyard cookout.

Now President Obama has taken common sense and kicked it through the West Wing windows.

In another move toward creating the United Socialist States of America, the Obama administration wants to turn September 11th into a “National Day Of Service.”

Up till now, September 11th has been a day of reflection and rememberance of the nearly 3,000 people murdered in one single day by Islamic terrorists.

Now, the President wants it to be a day of global warming awareness, activism, food banks and voter registration drives.

Obama’s plans were outlined in a teleconference call with, among others, Lennox Yearwood, head of the Hip Hop Caucus.

Van Jones, Obama’s “green jobs” czar, appeared in a video on the official White House blog claiming that the “National Day Of Service will be chance “for people to connect, to find other people in your peer group who are passionate about repowering America but also greening up America and cleaning up America.”

Perhaps in the world of the Kool-Aid Brigade all of this makes sense.
Do a food drive, tell each other lies about “climate change”, and register some new members of Obama’s Army.

But why in the hell pick September 11th, one of the darkest days in the history of this nation, to do it?

Simple.

Because on that day, for the majority of Americans, their thoughts turn to the innocent men and women, going about their day to day lives, who died.
They think about the bravery of the first responders who made the ultimate sacrifice in trying to save people’s lives.
And more than a few of us are still filled with a terrible resolve to see to it that such a thing never happens again.

This scares Obama and his followers.

They don’t want people thinking about patriotism and love of country.
They don’t want people to think that terrorist attacks are still the number one danger facing this country.

I think that what amazes me the most about this administration is that every time I think that they have come up with the ultimate hair-brained, un-American proposal, they devise an even more outlandish plot.

Well, this September 11th you nitwits enjoy your National Day Of Service.
Sit around, hold hands and sing Kumbaya.

As for myself, as well as anyone else with any grip on reality, I will spend the day reflecting on what it truly means.

George Bush Was The Worst President Ever!

June 17, 2009

The mainstream media is still ranting about how they consider George Bush to be the worst man ever to have been President.

And if you didn’t know better, by listening to them you would think that Bush is about as smart as a bag of hammers.

As for my thoughts about the mainstream media, I wouldn’t believe a talking-head such as Charles Gibson or Katie Couric if they told me water was wet!

Let’s do a little history lesson just to see how stupid Bush really was:

1979: Islamic militants sieze the U.S. embassy in Tehran and hold 52 Americans hostage for the next 444 days. Barack Obama’s older brother, Jimmy Carter, does nothing.
On the day of Ronald Reagan’s inauguration, the militants, knowing there was a new sheriff in town, one who just might turn the captors into sub-atomic particles, release the hostages.

1980’s: 17 killed at the U.S. embassy in Beirut, 241 killed at the U.S. Marine barracks in Beirut.
Believing that Lybian dictator Moammar Kadafi is behind the attacks that have plagued U.S. interests throughout the decade, Reagan has American planes bomb targets in Libya, killing dozens.
Kadafi climbs inside a camel’s ass and pretty much keeps to himself for the next 25 years.

1990/1991: Iraq invades Kuwait.
George Bush senior forms a coalition of 32 nations and invades Iraq.
Within a few weeks time, what little is left of the Iraq army leaves Kuwait.
Saddam Hussein doesn’t get what he deserves until the next Bush becomes president.

1992-2000: Bill Clinton spends his years in the White House ruining Monica Lewinsky’s dress.
And while he’s busy with affairs of state, we get the following:

1993: A 1500 pound car bomb detonates below Tower One of the World Trade Center, killing 6 people and injuring 1,042.

1996: Members of the Hizballah Al-Hijaz explode a fuel truck outside the Khobar Towers in Saudi Arabia, killing 24 U.S. servicemen.

2000: In October, towards the end (thank God) of Clinton’s presidency, a small craft explodes next to the USS Cole, blowing a 40 by 60 foot hole in the ship’s hull, killing 17 sailors and injuring 39 others.
Clinton, throughout all these acts of terrorism against America, spends his 8 years in the White House worrying about impeachment and where his next intern is coming from.

These little snippets of history contain an important lesson for the current Islamic Jihadist-appeasing occupant of the White House.

You can sit back and do nothing, as did Clinton and Carter, and further embolden the enemies of America.

Or you can follow the path taken by Reagan and Bush 1 and 2, and strike back, letting the people hell-bent on the destruction of America know that they will pay a terrible price for their actions against us.

Mr. President, I pray that you have a change of heart, and come to realize that not only does this nation still face a grave danger from our foes, your actions are only making matters worse, and leaving this country wide-open to another 9-11 type of attack.

And never again in my lifetime do I want to see someone compelled to make a video like this:

People In New York Need To Lighten Up About Air Force One Flyover

May 11, 2009

Once again, Michelle Malkin reports on the things that the rest of America’s media choose to ignore.

It seems that President Obama feels that the thousands of New Yorkers who were terrified when Air Force One was circling Manhattan are making a big deal out of nothing.

Click Here to read how Michelle reports on how President Obama joked about all of it.

What Do Workers In the Library Tower Think About Waterboarding?

April 23, 2009

As you may have heard, the Obama administration recently released highly classified CIA memos describing the interrogation techniques used on terrorists, against the advice of four former CIA chiefs. Former Vice President Dick Cheney has criticized Obama’s release of these memos without describing what was gained by using the interrogation techniques they mentioned.

It came to light in the release of the 911 report that these interrogation techniques were used after 911. More recently we found out that their use on 911 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed led directly to the break-up of a terrorist plot to attack the Library Tower (tallest skyscraper in California) as a west coast follow up to the attacks in New York. As president, Obama knew this before he released the memos.

I want to preface my following statements by saying that in the opinion of The Freedom Medium waterboarding is not torture when used on terrorists who are withholding information. Anyone who says that it is torture is expressing an opinion; not stating a fact. Calling waterboarding torture is along the same lines of expressing an opnion that humans cause global warming, or that God does not exist.

That said, I can’t help but wonder what the opinion must be of the people who work everyday in the Library Tower (AKA the US Bank Tower). What about their famalies’ opinions?

Put youself in their shoes for a minute. Ask yourself if the government found out that the building your husband, wife, mother, father, son, or daughter works in was the target of a terrorist plot, would you approve of the CIA waterboarding someone who had information but refused to give it? We are asked to sympathize with the person being waterboarded, now I challenge you to sympathize with the people who would be affected if he is not waterboarded.

I would find it hard to believe that a single employee who goes to work at the Library Tower everyday, or any relative thereof, would take the position that we shouldn’t have protected their life by waterboarding KSM. Let’s face it, many of them would probably approve of using even harsher techniques to keep them or their family members alive.

And that is really one of the only responsibilities the president has. To keep our citizens safe. If that means pouring water into the mouth of a filthy piece of scum like Khalid Sheikh Mohammed until he gives up the information he is withholding, then so be it. It saved thousands of American lives. I get the feeling that this administration and many of their friends on the left would be ok with using these techniques on supporters of traditional marriage, so it is hard to take their cries of torture seriously when we waterboard Islamic fascists.

In fact they won’t even say Islamic fascist or War on Terror anymore. They will, however, call returning vets potential terrorists.

There won’t be any investigations of Barney Frank or Chris Dodd when it comes to the real damage they caused the country, but they will possibly investigate the Bush administration which kept us safe for the eight years following 911.

Don’t get me wrong, waterboarding is not something that should be used on anyone or even allowed as a hazing tactic in parts of the military, as it used to be. But if it is not allowed as part of an interrogator’s arsenal in the CIA or the other intelligence agencies, we will be less safe as a nation. We said we would never allow another 911 to happen to us again, but I fear that the Obama administration is not on the same page.  Moving forward on these investigations would be a clear sign that Obama and his staff have forgotten the lessons of 911 and are returning the intelligence community to the Dark Ages of September 10th.

Why We Cannot Negotiate With Terrorists

February 16, 2009

How do you hold a rational discussion with a group of people who would like nothing better than to see America cease to exist?

How do you talk to someone who feels it is a great honor if one of their children dies as a suicide bomber?

How do you reason with people who are willing to die so that they can fly airplanes into buildings?

Why Wasn’t This Done After 9-11?

February 10, 2009

The Pentagon has announced plans to have 20,000 uniformed troops stationed in the U.S. by 2011 to respond to a terrorist attack or other domestic catastrophe.

There are a few things about this proposal that bother me.

First, it is a direct violation of the Posse Comitatus Act, a law that was established more than 130 years ago to keep the military from becoming involved in domestic law enforcement.

Second, if the powers that be think this is such a good idea (and this idea was first presented when Bush was still President), then why is it taking 10 years after September 11th to get it done?

And third, if the role of the military was strictly limited to terror attack response, that would be one thing; but what “domestic catastrophe” would require our leaders seeking a response from among twenty thousand members of the armed forces?

Read more about this story here, and then tell me what you think.
