Organizing For America Promotes Fascism
October 6, 2009
Members of Organizing for America, or as we call them, Obama’s Army, are dedicated to spreading the President’s message.
But only if it’s the President’s message.
If you don’t agree with that message, they don’t want to hear from you.
And they are willing to violate your Constitutional rights if that is what it takes to keep you quiet:
“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”
What are the members of Obama’s Army so afraid of?
Are they worried about people discovering that they don’t have the slightest idea of the details of the President’s health care reform bill?
We have pointed that out in previous articles.
Are they afraid that someone may ask them specifics as to how the President is going to pay for this?
Perhaps that is why, at an Organizing For America rally supporting health care, they pulled off the following underhanded maneuver:
I would like one of you members of the Kool-Aid Brigade to explain to me how you can justify banning American citizens from a public park?
Not a private, closed door meeting, but a taxpayer-supported public area that, by law, should be accessible to any law-abiding individual.
Of course, some of the Organizing For America zealots interviewed in the video provided their own answers to that question.
And the truly frightening thing is that one of these members of OFA spelled it out, but was either too stupid or was too blinded by ideology to realize it.
As is the case with select members of Congress, who would no doubt support your efforts.
The ones who label Tea Party protestors as Nazis, racists, and whatever other vile term they can come up with
So for all of you members of Obama’s Army who are completely clueless, (99.9% of you), as well as such legislators as Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Barbara Boxer, etc., allow us to spell it out for you.
There is a word for when you try to control the media.
A word that applies when you try to restrict the free-flow of speech, and public access to public areas.
A word for when the only message you want people to hear is your message.
That word is Fascism.
I Have No Opinion Regarding The Obama Youth
September 26, 2009
We here at the Freedom Medium have never hesitated to make our opinions known.
Especially regarding certain topics.
President Obama’s Civilian Defense Force being near the top of the list.
Another one of our favorite subjects to cover is Organizing for America.
Or as we sometimes refer to it, Obama’s Army.
Those of you who are regular readers know that, as far as my own opinions on these topics are concerned, I usually have quite a lot to say.
So it may surprise you when I claim that I have no opinion regarding the Obama Youth.
When you down come to it, a person’s opinion boils down to their own conclusion on a particular subject.
So you may be shocked to learn that I am not putting forth my thoughts on what many are calling the indoctrination or the brainwashing of America’s youth.
I have drawn my own conclusions.
Today, however, I am going to take a different approach.
The comparisons I am going to offer you should be obvious.
I ask that you then let me know what conclusion you come to, rather than reading mine.
First, watch this video which was filmed recently:
Now, watch this one, which was filmed quite some time ago:
Notice anything similar?
Obama’s Army: Join Today!! Meet The Civilian Defense Force Staff
August 31, 2009
“We cannot continue to relay only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we’ve set. We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well funded.”
Barack Obama, July 2nd, 2008
We are well aware that there are many members of the Kool-Aid Brigade that follow this website.
We here at the Freedom Medium, as well as the non-brainwashed members of our audience, would like you current or potential members of Obama’s Army to clear something up for us.
If America has managed to persevere for 233 years without having a President that has his own private Gestapo, why in the hell does Obama think we need one now?
Now we don’t expect that any of you Kool-Aid drinkers to seriously respond to that question, you people are so deluded that anything Obama says is good enough for you.
However, those of us that aren’t totally stupid would like to know, who is supposed to be in charge of this damn thing?
If it is a national civilian defense force, that means it wouldn’t be subject to any military oversight or control.
So just who will be giving the orders?
Last year, before the Presidential election, our friends at Students For America put together the following video.
And before you moonbats at ACORN, Organizing For America, and the rest of you mind-numbed robots try and shrug this off as being too far-fetched. take a close look at the ethics of some of the people Obama has appointed as Czars, members of his staff, cabinet members, etc.
Members Of Organizing For America Are As Dumb As A Box Of Rocks
August 30, 2009
On Friday, we published an article pointing out our take on a report that originated at World Net Daily on how Organizing For America was now paying recruits.
On Saturday we presented a little history lesson on what some people feel is the predecessor to Obama’s Civilian Defense Force, along with showcasing how the President has his own “astroturf” organization.
Today, we will continue this series with a report of just how tragic the members of Organizing For America really are.
Either that, or they have totally lost touch with reality.
Regardless of what side of the health care reform debate someone may be on, any sane and rational human being should agree that it is only logical to have some idea of the issue you are supporting before you pledge your support of it, or attend an event in order to present your point of view.
Sadly, such is not the case with these members of Obama’s Army, or as we here at the Freedom Medium call them, the Kool-Aid Brigade.
Watch the video:
The first man mentions that Organizing For America was formed by the White House and the DNC.
Does that make them an organized mob of astroturfers?
He states that he likes the “core principles” of the plan.
Yet when asked how the plan would be paid for, he mumbles someting about how “these are the core principles, I’m sorry, that’s all I can say”, and walks away.
The second member of Obama’s Astroturfers questioned reveals that he learned of the event in an e-mail from his Organizing For America supervisor.
He also, when questioned about who is going to pay for the health car plan gets a deer-caught-in-the-headlights look on his face, then tries to ignore the questioner, and finally replies “It’s in the bill, sorry, I can’t talk to you guys.”
Well son, if you are so sure that it’s in the bill, why don’t you simply answer the lady’s question?
And who told you that you couldn’t talk to anyone asking probing questions.
Did you lose your Constitutional right to free speech when you joined Obama’s Army?
He then goes on to make the claim that he is not talking because he is a summer intern.
What the hell does that mean?
Is it a requirement of being a member of Organizing For America that you must be a clueless, brainwashed idiot?
A summer, as in college student, intern?
What the hell school do you go to kid, Whatsa Matter You?
The third person mentions her friend’s medical bills, and how she can’t pay them in spite of having good health insurance and parents who both make a six figure income, and how it’s impossible for mom and dad to help because they put all of their kids through college.
Young lady, I am putting two kids through college right now, and my wife and I combined don’t make a six figure income!
Your friend needs to find health insurance that actually is good.
And her parents need to find a good financial advisor, or at least learn how to manage their money a little better.
If I had that sort of household income, I could pay a 35 thousand dollar hospital bill.
It might be a struggle, but it beats the hell out of asking the rest of America for charity.
Of course, I suspect that my having some personal pride and self-respect has something to do with those feelings.
So what sort of people comprise Organizing For America?
People who, when pressed for details either walk away, or state that they aren’t allowed to talk.
Then we have a poor misguided young lady who thinks that Obama’s plan is a better alternative to the health care insurance her friend has now, as well as overlooking the fact that parents making six figure incomes aren’t helping.
And while some Kool-Aid drinker is asking the woman asking the questions what right she has to be there, the young lady states that she would be willing to spend 50% of her income on taxes if it would mean everyone had health care.
And I think that she was the smartest person there.
Because she came up with the perfect solution for America’s “health care crisis.”
All of you who support Obamacare without having a clue as to what is in the bill, whip out your Organizing For America pledge cards, vow that you will give the government half of all that you earn in order to have government-run health insurance, and the entire problem is solved!!!
Just leave the rest of us the hell alone.
Gangs Of Activists From Organizing For America At Town Halls
August 29, 2009
(This is the first of two parts. If you enjoy this one, be sure to check back tomorrow, you will love part two. If you hate this one, be sure to check back tomorrow, you will really hate part two.)
Yesterday we reported on how Organizing For America, known to some of us as Obama’s Army, were hiring recruits at a very good rate of pay.
We also pointed out that members of what is possibly a forerunner of Obama’s Civilian Defense Force were being snuck into town hall health care meetings.
It seems as though we were a bit off the mark on that one.
They aren’t sneaking in, they are blatantly and openly campaigning for passage of Barack Obama’s health care reform bill!
Apparently the thugs from ACORN and the SEIU weren’t intimidating enough, so Obama had to call up the reserves.
So today we will show you proof of the actions of Obama’s Army, and some of their tactics.
This is being done on Obama’s behalf in spite of such intellectual giants as Barbara Boxer, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid, just to name a few, have called American citizens, American voters, such things as a “Brooks Brothers Brigade”, “Swastika armband wearing Nazis”, and “Astroturfers.”
The explanation for the Astroturfers term was that the folks voicing their concerns about the health care bill were not a true “grassroots” movement, but rather an “organized mob.”
Does this mean that Obama’s movement should be named after the green outdoor carpeting you buy at a hardware store?
Allow me to offer all of you members of the Kool-Aid Brigade a piece of advice.
You can call in Organizing For America, SEIU, Obama’s Civilian Defense Force, ACORN, and if all else fails the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, it isn’t going to silence us.
Despite the best efforts of some members of this administration to fundamentally change it, this is still The United States of America, and our voices will be heard!
Let’s look at this a little closer.
Back in April, we did a story about one of Organizing For America’s first pledge drives.
Watch the video of one of their first events, then we will offer an analysis:
This may seem too critical to some of you, but here a just a few of the glitches we found in this clip of one of Organizing For America’s first events.
1. At the beginning, the clip runs the statement “Featuring The Residence of Genesee County.
Shouldn’t the word be Residents?
I didn’t notice anyone asking a house or an apartment building for their opinion.
Some real rocket scientists worked on this one.
2. Take note of the man with the clipboard. He asks people to pledge their support for Obama.
Isn’t that somewhat similar to asking someone to take am oath of loyalty to Obama?
And really, what is the actual point of all of this stupidity?
250 million Americans are happy with the health care they have now, you think some signatures on a loyalty oath pledge card are going to change that?
3. It appears that the man with the clipboard is standing outside of a liquor store.
On second thought, maybe that’s appropriate.
After putting your name to one of these things, you might need a drink.
4. Someone will have to explain to us just what in the hell the last couple of minutes of the video have to do with the subject matter at hand.
Now, moving on, let’s take a look at Obama’s own “Astroturf” movement:
HMMM!
Dozens of people at a town hall event all holding the same signs.
If I were the suspicious type I would think that these people were part of an “organized mob.”
And the woman at the end gives us just another example of how swift these people really are.
You will notice that the man asking the questions asks her where she got the sign.
And she takes a closer look at it and replies “Organizing For America.”
And when the man asks her if that isn’t “astroturfing’, she replies that “we are a grassroots movement.”
Lady, if you have to look at the sign to see who gave you the sign, are you sure that the roots of the grass were even involved?
Be sure to check back tomorrow when we present proof that the members of Organizing For America, at least the ones at the town halls, are completly clueless.
Obama’s Civilian Defense Force Is Now PAYING For Recruits
August 28, 2009
We have done numerous articles outlining the activities of Organizing For America, an offshoot of the Democratic National Committee, OFA is also known as Obama’s Army.
On the surface, Organizing For America seems like a benign enough group, but once you do a little research you can’t help but question their agenda.
As a continuance of the campaign group Organizing for Obama, OFA members have been touring the country seeking to enlist support for President Obama’s policies.
For months they have been standing outside of shopping malls and conducting door-to-door campaigns asking people to sign pledge cards in support of the President’s policies.
And when we first learned of this, it struck us as a bit odd that a sitting President was looking for signature cards showing support for his ideas.
Apparently, we aren’t the only ones who feel that way.
Norm Sterzenbach, executive director of the Iowa Democratic Party, had this to say:
“Iowa has almost nonstop Presidential activity. But the idea of a sitting President continuing an organization is fairly unusual.”
What else is fairly unusual is a statement made by one of the leaders of what is supposed to be a simple grassroots political group.
Back in March, at the start of a pledge drive in Alabama, a leader of the event, Chris DeHaven, told his followers not to try and convert anyone who did not agree with what they were hoping to accomplish.
His words to his troops were:
“We’re not looking for a fight.”
” That will come later, after we have an army.”
Will Organizing For America become Obama’s Civilian Defense Force?
Our friends over at World Net Daily just did an article exposing how college kids are being recruited to join Obama’s Army.
Not only are these students being offered college credit, The DNC is also running help wanted ads on such sites as Craigslist offering people between 9 to 16 dollars an hour to lobby for passage of Obama’s health care reform bill.
This is the same DNC that has called people at town hall health care protests an “organized mob.”
Nancy Pelosi has called people voicing their concerns about this bill “Astroturfers wearing Swastikas.”
However, Robert Gibbs, to cite just one example, have called protesters “Organized and manufactured rage”, yet makes no mention of DNC operatives and SEIU thugs being snuck into these events through the backdoor.
These activities, along with a host of others, lead to a myriad of questions and we would welcome any rational answers from any and all members of Obama’s Army.
When before in the history of this country has a sitting President’s political party actively sought supporters on such a grand scale. even going so far as to run help wanted ads and offering to pay people?
Can someone contact Chris DeHaven and ask him to explain to us just what are the details of the fight he says is coming?
Just what the hell gives him the right to threaten anyone who doesn’t agree with the aims of his group?
Are you going to have Obama’s Civilian Defense Force to back you up in this fight, or are you going to become Obama’s Civilian Defense Force?
What is the real purpose of all of this?
It’s all fine and well to obtain someone’s signature on a pledge card that says they support the President’s health care bill, but unless that person has actually read the bill, what have you honestly accomplished?
The election is over, Obama won, why in the hell do you have to offer to pay people to be supporters?
Is it simply a new way of doing things, as many of you claim, or is it part of a fundemental CHANGE that most American’s wouldn’t put up with if they knew your real agenda?
How do you explain the presence of Organizing For America members at town hall health care forums?
What’s wrong, you don’t think that having thugs from the SIEU assault people is intimidating enough?
Liberals to this day denounce the actions of Joe McCarthy and the House Un-American Activities Committee.
How is the White House setting up an e-mail account for people to report anything “fishy” they hear about health care reform any different?
How do you explain press secretary Robert Gibbs tripping over his tongue when asked why people who had never submitted their e-mail address to the White House were receiving e-mails from Obama ally David Axelrod?
More McCarthyism?
Finally, let’s sum things up, and then we have one final question.
Many of the supporters of the President’s health care reform package will pass off the activities of Organizing For America as simply a way to counter some of the mis-information that conservatives are accused of spreading.
Let’s think about that one for a moment.
One the one hand, you have average citizens (not Nazis, sorry Ms. Pelosi) raising what to them are legitimate concerns regarding an overhaul of America’s health care system.
There are a few (very few) political pindits on network TV and talk radio asking questions and voicing their opinions on this topic.
All of these things are democracy in action, protected under the fundamental right of free speech.
On the other hand you have a President whose party holds the majority in both the House and the Senate, in fact the majority in the Senate is fillibuster-proof.
You have no major media outlets, print or electronic, asking probing questions about the President’s plan.
You have a database of over 13 million e-mail addresses of people who voiced their support for Barack Obama during his Presidential campaign.
You have millions of members in Organizing for America, and with the support of the Democratic National Committee, you are actively recruiting new members on a daily basis.
These supporters are running well-organized, nationwide campaigns to enlist support for the President’s agenda.
Yet with the odds weighted so heavily in the President’s favor, he is still facing stiff opposition.
So our final question is this:
If the President’s health care reform bill is the blessing for all American’s that he and his supporters claim that it is, couldn’t the paln simply stand on it’s own merits?
The Civil Defense Versus Obama’s Army
June 29, 2009
Most of you reading this are probably not old enough to recognize the image attached to this article, or what it once stood for.
We’ll get back to that in a minute.
Some of you may recall that during the Presidential campaign, Barack Obama made the claim that “America needs a domestic security force just as strong and just as well funded as our military.”
At the time, I figured that candidate Obama was choosing to ignore the fact that we already have something along those lines, those of us who are sensible know it as the National Guard.
But it turns out that what Mr. Obama had in mind was, in our opinion, his own private army, formed under the pretense of having a domestic group ready to respond in case of a national emergency or terrorist attack.
Again, Mr. Obama, ever hear of the National Guard?
We have written a number of articles about this ludicrous idea, here are just two:
Obama’s Civilian Security Force and the other is Obama’s Civilian Defense Force Update
Which brings us to the picture we started this article off with.
That picture was the symbol of a now-defunct organization know as The United States Civil Defense.
This was a non-military force, consisting at it’s peak of over 10 million members.
These volunteers were trained, primarily on a local level, to respond to natural disasters, administer first aid, decontaminate after chemical weapons attacks, and a multitude of other scenarios.
An associated agency’s duties consisted of border patrol and search and rescue missions.
Keep in mind, a trained civilian response team consisting of 10 million members.
To get a better idea of how critical this agency was once considered to America’s internal security, if you ever happen to attend a to attend a classic car show, and happen to spot a 40’s to early 60’s car equipped with the original radio, you will see the CD symbol on the radio dial, so people could tune in for critical announcements and updates.
But, as with all good things, government interference and the fed’s usual hair brained ideas that “we can make this work better”
led to this bastion of Americans trained to help fellow Americans faded away/was folded into the federal bureaucracy.
And despite what Janet Napolitan and her minions at the Department of Homeland Security would have you believe, the United States no longer has any group as well trained or containing nearly the measurement of the Civil Defense in it’s heyday.
So, how does this differ from what President Obama envisions?
Obama wants to recruit high school and college students to serve a term of duty in AmeriCorps.
These kids would be shipped off to various locations, housed in a barracks-style setting, issued uniforms (didn’t someone else in history do something like that? I wonder if the shirts would still be brown?), and “trained” in emergency response techniques.
Feeling safer now?
As opposed to the old Civil Defense, of which I can provide a first-hand account of how well they performed the duties they were trained to do.
Bear with me, as I have to go into some detail in order to illustrate my point.
Years ago, the area where I grew up went through a flood that is still ranked as one of the worst natural disasters in American history.
As fate would have it, the area where I lived, as well as that town’s National Guard Armory, were out of the areas affected by the flooding.
A friend and I happened to be standing in my front yard when all of a sudden a military jeep pulled up in front of the house and the soldier asked me my name.
Upon learning that I was who he was looking for, he asked me to get in, and for my friend to come along.
We returned to the armory where the Scoutmaster of my Boy Scout troop, who also happened to be the head of the local Civil Defense unit, was, along with the members of his group, working with the Guard unit on disaster relief.
He had overheard one of the members of the Guard unit saying that they were unable to get blankets, food, and water to one section of the town because the only road to it was flooded out.
When my friend and I walked in, he asked me “Carl, do you know of a way to get to Avondale Hill?”
I told him that I did, but it would involve driving through some old abandoned strip mines.
Fifteen minutes later, my buddy was in one jeep and I was in another, leading the soldiers along this route to take much needed supplies to people who couldn’t be reached any other practical way.
Yes, I realize that for some of you, especially the ones who have never heard of it, something on the order of the Civil Defense sounds kind of old-fashioned.
However, if you were to find yourself in an area hit by a natural disaster, or, God forbid, a terrorist attack, who would you rather have available to turn to for help?
The National Guard being on hand is a given, regardless of Obama’s feelings, they are always ready to step up when they are called.
But who would you rather have providing them assistance?
A group of well trained, mature. local individuals, volunteers who know the area where they are working to try and return life to normal?
People who know of the local citizens and resources to turn to to get a task accomplished in a time of crisis?
Or a bunch of out-of-the-area high school kids who, although they miss being at home playing their video games, for most of whom their biggest concern is how much money they will receive towards college tuition for being part of Obama’s Army?
Obama’s Civilian Defense Force Update April 5th, 2009
April 5, 2009
I thought that I had better include a date in the title because the staff here at Freedom Medium will have a lot to say on this topic in the coming weeks and months.
At the end of this article you will find a link to the White House website where you can check the accuracy of what I am about to write.
I’m doing it that way because I am sure that by now, given the current administration’s intense dislike of anyone who does not agree with one of their policies, I don’t want to be charged with plagarism or copyright infringement.
Now, let’s get down to business.
Part of the Obama administration’s agenda is to expand AmeriCorps from 75,000 slots to 250.000.
Where in the world are an additional One Hundred and Seventy Five Thousand people supposed to come from?
And the part about helping communities plan, prepare for, and respond to emergencies.
If we are talking about such things as floods or hurricanes, isn’t that what the National Guard is for?
Please don’t tell me that these forces are meant to supplement the National Guard.
Perhaps they will be called upon to perform duties that members of the military would refuse to do, because the orders they received were unconstitutional.
Again this is one I will leave you to draw your own conclusions on.
Then we have this one: “Require 100 Hours Of Service in College.”
Of course, this is meant to be offset by a new “American Opportunity Tax Credit of $4,000 a year in exchange for 100 hours of public service a year.”
Before you tell me that I am out of my mind to sneer at a $4,000 tax credit, allow me to ask a question:
When the hell did the United States Government acquire the right to require a citizen of the United States to perform 100 hours of community service a year simply because they are attending college?
If someone could become eligible to receive this credit because they volunteered for and performed
100 hours of community service, I would not have a problem with that.
To an extent, I would even be OK with this if it were part of a provision for receiving tuition grants, perhaps even securing a student loan.
I am one of those old fashioned patriots who feels that the only thing the government can require
me to do is to obey the law, and of course to pay my taxes.
Unlike most members of President Obama’s Cabinet.
Here’s the link: White House Agenda
Glenn Beck And Michelle Malkin On The GIVE Act
March 28, 2009
Michelle Malkin was recently a guest on the Glenn Beck program to discuss the recent passage of the GIVE act.
The Senate just passed their version of the House bill, HR 1388.
What does this mean to you?
Well I would rather you looked it up and read it yourself, that way I can’t be accused of putting my own spin upon it.
And now you are saying “Carl, why don’t you provide a link to it?”
Hey, I’m a conservative.
I expect people to be able to do things for themselves.
But maybe you don’t need to read it.
The title of the bill that just passed the Senate should tell you everything you need to know:
“The Edward M. Kennedy Serve America Act, an Act to reauthorize and reform the national service laws.”
Reauthorize national service laws?
Be sure and wave bye bye to your children as they go off to serve in Obama’s army.
