President Obama Is Preparing To Impose Martial Law

Some of you are asking, “Carl, how could you make such an outrageous statement?”
Well, just as dark clouds indicate that it is about to rain, when all of the signs point at something, it’s not paranoia, simply an acceptance of the facts.
Barack Obama recently, without any publicity (that should set off alarm bells by itself) signed an Executive Order establishing a “Council Of Governors.”

OK, first off, I call it Obama’s latest violation of the Constitution for the following reasons:
If you read the Executive Order carefully, you will see that is an attempt to put the National Guard, units which are based in individual states, under the control of the federal government. This is in direct violation of the 10th Amendment, which reads as follows:
“The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.”
In other words Mr. President, the Constitution doesn’t give you the right to do this!
As far as this un-Constitutional document being enforced in the case of a national emergency, it fails to spell out just what would prompt the enforcement of its provisions, which in my opinion, the way I’m reading it, a violation of the 14th Amendment:
“All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside.
No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.”
The provisions in this Executive Order that outline the Synchronization and integration of state and Federal military activities in the United States is a direct violation of the Posse Comitatus Act, which begins with this provision:
“From and after the passage of this act it shall not be lawful to employ any part of the Army of the United States, as a posse comitatus, or otherwise, for the purpose of executing the laws, except in such cases and under such circumstances as such employment of said force may be expressly authorized by the Constitution…”
Now if all of this (should Obama ever try to enforce this thing) isn’t enough to cause a Constitutional crisis, how about how about Obama signing an Executive Order giving law enforcement personnel from foreign countries new police powers within the United States, as was first reported here by World Net Daily.
Maybe all of this is Obama’s way of trying to fufill one of his dumbest campaign proposals:
We here at The Freedom Medium have written a number of articles raising the question of why America would need a civilian defense force when we have the National Guard.
It seems that President Obama was hoping to raise his own private army here in America, directly under federal (his) control.
Well just like Nancy Pelosi saying that one way or another, health care reform would pass. it seems like the President is going to take whatever steps he need to to have an domestic armed force under his control.
We can only speculate as to why he feels the need.
Along with wondering why he continues to ignore the U.S. Constitution.

While each State’s National Guard is pretty much controlled by the individual states Governors they are not state militia. Both the Army National Guard, and the Air National Guard are organized militia attached to the US Army and US Air Force respectively. This means while the individual Governors have day to day ability to direct, they President of the United States is still Commander and Chief of the National Guard just like any fully active military branch. If you read the executive order you linked too, it shows the council of Governors being created to a liaison between the Joint Chiefs of staff, or various officials in the Department of Homeland Security, or various Anti-Terrorism groups. Why? Because the National Guard is our Domestic front line, having a means to streamline communications and processes greatly increases the effectiveness, this saves time, and money in the event it’s needed. You think when Katrina hit New Orleans, if there had been a group that oversaw and assisted with National Guard specific actions it would have taken as long to get them all those that responded mobilized? What about the National Guard units deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan? Don’t you think a group that works with the Joint Chiefs would be better able to provide and prepare the families of those National Guard members information and possibly aid they would need to continue on while their loved one’s were on deployment? Seriously have you completely lost your mind or are you just tuned in to Rush 24/7?
Please all of you crack pot Liberals and Conservation, Republican, Democrat, or what ever you preferred to be called just shut up, and move to Canada…seriously.. Your Archaic ideals, and loyalty to your own frickin agenda has done nothing but choke the life out of this country. You all scream there needs to be change but only if it’s to your ideals and standards…..Wake up look around you not just at those in your neighborhood, Town, or State but at things from a larger standpoint…We claim to be the best Country on earth..but We’re sub top 30 in Health Care, and rank outside the top 10 in education, Our political system thanks to Political Parties is a joke, I was reading where the BBC even pointing it out…

This is a stupid article. Obama is NOT going to take over the freaking U.S. using any more of an “un-Constitutional” form than a previous President.
Two things:
1) Have your caretaker or nanny explain all of the Constitutional amendments to you- with pictures, if necessary. You clearly have trouble with word comprehension.

And why is that?
He has full backing of the media! Do people not notice these things? We never ever find out about this stuff until it’s done.
Obama gave us the first deployment of US troops in this country (3rd Infantry Division’s 1st Brigade Combat Team) to “assist” with civilian law enforcement during his first year as President in 2008! So few people heard about it because so few are even paying attention — the announcement was made in the armytimes website in September 2008!
national guard are deployed overseas, as they have been for years. ergo, under control of the federal government. where is the “wah wah” over this issue? (AK, TX national guard)
So, martial law was declared, under this definition, 7 years ago under W. nice of you to select your battles. At the very least, it is a violation of the 10th ammendment.
An ammendment, by the way, which as been used as everything from a defense against civil rights, secession, to the right to medicinal marijuana. Incredibly vague, if you get my drift.

i am no literary scholar, but i am a scholar. To prove a point, why interject these phrases like “in my opinion” and ” the way i’m reading it”? In the same sentence, even! it is obviously an opinion piece. we already knew that. You prove to make your opinion weak, and frankly, not worth the digital page upon it will never be printed.
You, like many other non-msm news sources, are so selective and full of shit. You may pick your battles, of course. But your selection process has no intelectual fortitude, nor, does it seem, have a process whatsoever.

One, because “W did it” is not an excuse. He is no longer President, a concept that both you and Obama seem to have trouble grasping.
Two, are you seriously trying to tell me that the MSM does not pick their battles, or their stories?

Is there any of you that are willing to admit that first, Bush is no longer the President?
Second, liberals are the ones wearing the tinfoil hats to block out the things that they don’t want to hear. The Democrats continued push to pass “health care reform” in spite of overwhelming public opposition is just one example.
Third, if Bush did as you claim, does Obama violating the Constitution make it right because his predecessor may have done it?
Fourth, isn’t the “Bush did it” whining getting a little old?

You are the one who should move to a foreign country, the verbal back-and-forth that is taking place here is a huge part of the American way of life.
I would have to look into your claim regarding education, as for your claim on healthcare, please provide me and the rest of our readers with PROOF, not just something you heard or read, but proof of thirty places in the world where health care treatment is better than our current system.
Previous posters, I’d just like to applaud you for ripping Carl a new one. His posts show that he has absolutely no defense for what he said except pointing out your bad grammar and whining about blaming W.
I count this a victory for the rational people of the internet, we must move on!
Rather than do a meaningless point-by-point rebuttal here (meaningless in the sense that anyone who’s actually read the amendments you quoted understands how out-of-context they are) I’m going to go with what my gut instinct (and faith in humanity) tell me: you don’t really believe this nonsense, and are employing the tried-and-true tactic of using controversy to garner attention.
This notion is supported by your own citation of WorldNetDaily as a source of factual reporting, and your misapplication of every amendment you’ve quoted thus far.
In short, what I’m saying is that your own post is all the rebuttal anyone would need to prove your arguments incorrect.

Why does are President continue to violate the Constitution whenever it strikes his fancy?

Misapplication of the amendments I mention?
I suppose that you are one of those misguided individuals who feel that the First Amendment prohibts the display of religious displays on public property too.
As far as my sources, perhaps you feel that I should cite what you may feel are more credible outlets, such as The Daily Kos or the Huffington Post.

I seem to recall Eisenhower deploying US troops in Little Rock to enforce the law and putting the Guard under his control ( to ensure the governor couldnt use them .
The link to the White house document does not propose or suggest any reorganization of the National Guard. It is about exchanging information. I do not recall any given purpose of exchanging information.
Can I get a side of Universal Health Care with that Martial Law order?
