The past few nights, we have been having some fun with #hashtags on Twitter, and we thought we would bring the fun to our readers of the Freedom Medium.

We aren’t claiming credit for this being one of our own original works, but we wanted to pass it along to our readers as a method of supporting the arts.

We are doing this article in an open-thread style, leave a comment on which Obama movie is your favorite, or tell us about one of your favorites.

The Democratic National Committee Votes In Favor Of American Flag Desecration

Watch the video at the end of this article to see one more example of why when it comes to passing their health care reform bill, nothing is off-limits when it comes to the DNC.

Even if it means the destruction of one of our country’s greatest symbols.

Even I never thought that people of the left would stoop so low as to pervert the image of something that has stood for the greatness of this country for over 200 years.

When I think of the American flag, I think of the thousands of times I have sung the national anthem, or the times I have recited the Pledge of Allegiance, perhaps I will recall the image of the U.S. Marines raising the flag at Iwo Jima.

When the members of Obama’s Army think of the American flag, they think of an advertising gimmick.

Obama’s Army, as we call the members of Organizing For America, are an official arm of the Democratic National Committee.

We have shown in previous articles that these people are so stupid, if it was raining soup they would run outside with a fork.

We have presented numerous examples of how they attend rallies and hold meetings (as well as crashing Tea Party events) to show their support for Obamacare, yet when they are questioned about the details of the plan, you may as well have asked them to translate the Bible into Mandarin Chinese.

Now they have gone way too far.

As part of their “Health Reform Video Challenge”, one of the finalists in the contest is a video where some piece of human garbage is spray painting health care reform slogans over a mural of the American flag.

Feel free to visit the Organizing For America website where you can read the names of the “panel of experts” from the DNC who are the judges of this travesty.

Along with their right to free speech, I also support the God-given right of members of Organizing For America to be hopelessly stupid.

Even if they are abusing the privilege.

However, if I had happened to be nearby when this piece of pond scum was going through his routine, he would have learned quite a bit about healthcare.

Forget Swine Flu, We Need A Vaccine For Liberalism

Seriously.

We have a vaccine for swine flu because we know the effects.

How is it that medical research can’t develop a vaccine to prevent people from developing amnesia, and for their thinking to become so twisted that they start to believe that up is down, and for some things failing to register in their minds at all?

One of our recent articles asked the question “Who is more legitimate, Fox News or the White House?

This led one reader to leave a response to the points we raised, which once again displayed all of the symptoms of this disease that we outlined above.

One of the things this person said was that the media did fact-check George Bush, but that it happened 8 years too late.

No doubt this person was dragging out the tired old argument that “George Bush got us into a war in Iraq under false pretenses,There were never any WMD’s.”

This is where the amnesia part of this tragic illness makes itself known.

This poor soul obviously can’t remember such things as:

“If Saddam rejects peace and we have to use force, our purpose is clear. We want to seriously diminish the threat posed by Iraq’s weapons of mass destruction program.”

“Iraq is a long way from [here], but what happens there matters a great deal here. For the risks that the leaders of a rogue state will use nuclear, chemical or biological weapons against us or our allies is the greatest security threat we face.”

“He will use those weapons of mass destruction again, as he has ten times since 1983.”

Our respondent then went on to say:
“Fox News is the mouthpiece of the Republican Party. What they talk about is not news. If it were news, there would be measured debate, a modicum of respect….”
And a bit later threw this in:
“If we on the left had treated Bush anywhere like this, you’d be foaming at the mouth even more.”

OK, if Fox News is the mouthpiece of the Republican Party, does that make the crew at MSNBC the official spokespeople for the Democrats?

Sure, Fox News has people with opinionated shows, such as Sean Hannity, Glen Beck , etc.

And I realize that it is just another symptom of the disease this man is suffering from that leads him to believe that  commentators such as Keith Olbermann, Chris Matthews and Rachel Maddow never allow their own political ideology to influence their remarks.

“A modicum of respect….”
“If we on the left had treated Bush anywhere like this, you’d be foaming at the mouth even more.”

See, there’s that damn amnesia indicator again.

Sir, try and remember these:

Keith Olbermann calling George Bush the “worst person ever.”

Chris Matthews, following Bush’s farewell address, referred to the Bush Presidency as “the tragedy of the last eight years.”

How about a guest on Olbermann’s show, Janeane Garofalo, who told him that “Tea Parties are about racism, not politics.”

How much respect did you folks on the left show when one of you made the following comment:

“Republicans are shameless d**ks. No, that’s not fair,Republican politicians are shameless d**ks.

You took the author of that quote, Al Franken, and made him a United States Senator!

And you accuse those of us on the right of showing no respect?

Finally, this gentleman offered the following observation:

It has to be hard the on Obama administration to do its work when it is constantly having to deal with the lies, hyperbole, and ugly talk that is right on the edge of traitorous.

This is the part of this sickness that causes people to think backwards.

Let’s try this one at a time.

Regarding lies and hyperbole, we have said that his Cabinet contains some undesirable people.
Case in point, Timothy Geithner, who had a bit of a problem paying his income taxes.

We have mentioned the corruption of his “Czars.”
Case in point, former Czar, avowed Communist and 9-11 conspiracy nut Van Jones.
Along with Regulatory Czar Cass Sunstein, who thinks that animals should be allowed to sue humans in a court of law.
Leave us not forget Science Czar John Holdren, who advocates sterility drugs being put into public water supplies.
How about Chai Felblum, the President’s pick to serve on the EEOC, who made the statement “Gay sex is morally good.”

To all of you who stand firmly behind President and his policies, do you seriously mean to tell me that you don’t have a problem with a “Safe Schools” Czar who not only did not report a case of statutory homosexual rape to the authorities, he gave the 15 year-old young man advice on the proper way to conduct his relationship with a sexual predator?

We pointed out that the Obama Administration was attempting the freezing-out of a major news organization, and urging other media outlets to do the same.

We quoted a journalist who has never seen an administration call for a boycott of news outlet during his time of covering eight presidents.

I could go on and on, you tell me sir, where are the lies?
Read through all of our articles and point out where exactly are the lies and hyperbole.

“Ugly talk that is right on the edge of traitorous”

Are you SURE you want to go down that road?

You may want to think really hard about the words and actions of Cindy Sheehan, members of Code Pink, various members of the Democratic Party as well as the mainstream media, to name just a few.

And before you answer, you may want to give thanks that a little something that was known as the Sedition Act is no longer in effect, if it were, I would not be writing this because folks like you and the rest of your liberal allies would be in a federal prison.

Sorry my friend, but not agreeing with President Obama’s policies does not make me a traitor, any more than it makes me a Nazi or a racist.

And please don’t ask me to believe that you folks on the left treated George Bush any better than the right treats Barack Obama.

And with all of the invective that was thrown his way, I can’t seem to recall Bush ever calling for the boycott of a news organization, or attempting to ban one of it’s staffers from the White House.

However, George Bush is not the point.

The point is that you folks on the left can’t all be insane.

There has to be a few of you who take a look at something the President is proposing, an administrative appointment he makes, whatever, and stop and think about if you agree with him, not just mindlessly fall into line.

And if there aren’t at least a few of you like that, then God help us all.

As Usual, Liberals Take Credit For Things That They Didn’t Do

A person responding to one of our recent articles taking liberals to task left a comment about all the legislation that would not have occured were it not for liberals.

I suppose the implication being that if it weren’t for the efforts of liberals alone, without any input from conservatives, nothing good would have ever happened in America.

In typical liberal fashion, when called upon to account for some of the heinous acts commited by those on the left, this individual took the usual left-wing tactic of simply ignoring the point of the story and responded with a “Yeah, but what about this?” attitude.

We don’t have the patience to correct all of this person’s misconceptions (and he probably still wouldn’t get it anyway), but ther are a couple of glaring examples we would like to highlight.

This person was attempting to put for the proposition that if it were not for liberals, we would not have safe water to drink or clean air to breathe.

Really?

Ever hear of something called the EPA?

Environmental Protection Agency ring any bells?

If you had called the man who was the brainchild behind the EPA and the one who signed the legislation bringing the agency into existence a liberal, you would have bent sent off to an insane asylum.

Former Republican President Richard Nixon may have been many things, but being a liberal was not one of them.

Is that the only thing that conservatives can take credit for regarding the environment?

Who required that Federal agencies follow the law regarding environmental policy, use renewable energy sources, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions?

That was another man no one in their right mind would label a liberal, George Bush, when in January of 2007 he signed Executive Order 13423.

Another point that this person was trying to make that if it weren’t for liberals America’s labor force would not have a safe work environment.

Fortunately, we have the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.

Who do we have to thank for OSHA?

Once again, if you called the man who signed the legislation that was the birth of OSHA a liberal, Richard Nixon might have punched you in the nose.

We could go on and on with this, but here is the bottom line:

Maybe somewhere out there exists a liberal who, when they read something and they don’t agree with the premise of the article, can actually addres the issues raised in the article.

Rather than respond with something totally off topic.

I’m not holding my breath.

A Declaration Of War Against Liberal America

In yesterday’s article, we pointed out how for years liberals have led an all-out assualt against everything that is right about America, and have relentlessly attacked the very principles that this country was founded upon.

And how, for the most part, average everyday conservatives have left the battle to the likes of Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, et al.

I have some really bad news for you socialist left wing traitors.

The free ride is over.

Because the years of effort you have put forth trying to tear down this country and everything that it stands for can best be summed up in a phrase attributed to a Japanese military leader:

“I fear all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve.”

History is vague as to if those words were actually spoken by Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto, but I would be hard-pressed to find a phrase more appropriate.

Those sentiments were echoed by Nancy Snyder, a woman from Philipsburg Pennsylvania who has the following to say at a town hall health care meeting:

“They did it for prayer, they did it for abortion, and they’re not going to do it for our health care,”
“We’re not standing back this time,”

People, that is not an “Astroturfer” or a “Nazi” saying those words, that is a patriotic American who is sick to death of letting liberals run amok in America.

Rather than being an “organized mob” the folks who call themselves members of the Tea Party Patriots are simply average, working-class Americans who are demanding honesty and accountability from their elected officials.

That troubles the leftists because honesty and accountability are concepts that are foreign to their way of thinking.

You did not expect to hear our voices raised when you slapped us with “stimulus” packages in the hundreds of billions of dollars, “bailouts” of banks and car companies which were no more than your first socialistic steps towards taking control of American industries.
Now you want to do something similar by limiting executive salaries.
And, along with your other cockamamie schemes, ballooning the federal defict to levels beyond belief.

We are fighting back with Americans For Prosperity, whose members are “committed to educating citizens about economic policy and mobilizing those citizens as advocates in the public policy process.”
“AFP is an organization of grassroots leaders who engage citizens in the name of limited government and free markets on the local, state and federal levels.”

It is becoming hard to keep track of how many times President Obama has violated the Constitution of the United States, yet few if any of you on the left has seen fit to hold him to account.

A growing number of people are wondering just how far President Obama will go when it comes to ignoring one of the main documents on which this country was founded.

We have already seen his choice for director of the Department Of Homeland Security, Janet Napolitano, label returning veterans as potential domestic terrorists.

Simply because someone owns a gun or has served in America’s military, this crony of President Obama considers them to be a threat to domestic American safety.

When the biggest threat to domestic American safety is the mindless notions of Janet Napolitano and her minions at the DHS.

When it comes to our country’s domestic safety, I would much rather rely on the Oathkeepers, whose membership is made up of currently serving amd military veterans, as well as fire fighters and members of law enforcement.
They understand exactly what it means to swear to uphold the Constitution.

All of you on the left condoned the actions of the extremist fanatical group Code Pink, who would attempt to block the entrances to military recruiting centers while calling the recruiters themselves murderers, among other things far too vile to repeat here.

And not one liberal voice was raised when radical groups such as the members of the Westboro Baptist Church would go to any extreme to disrupt the funeral services of a brave soldier who died in Iraq of Afghanistan.
You stood by while these animals would curse at the fallen soldier’s family members, spit on the caskets and so on, bringing even more sorrow to a heartbroken survivor.

So patriotic Americans who understand what it means to make the ultimate sacrifice for one’s country formed the Patriot Guard Riders, who have made it their mission to show their respect for our fallen heroes, and to shield the mourning family and their friends from any protestor or group of protestors.

For one brief moment after 9-11, I thought that this country could bring itself back to what it once was.
As I watched members of Congress stand on the steps of the Capitol and sing God Bless America, it gave me hope that maybe the time had come where we would all be united as Americans.

That feeling didn’t last long.

It didn’t take long for those on the left to go back to their shrill bickering against everything that made this country the greatest nation on Earth, which gave birth to the 9-12 Project, committed to promoting the values and principles put forth by this nation’s Founding Fathers.

Like I said earlier, conservatives have sat back for years and put up with all the activities of the left that were unpatriotic and flew in the face of things that were moral and decent.

And when the sleeping giant woke up and started to speak out, the name calling started.

Sorry to tell you libs this, but we are not part of a “vast right-wing conspiracy”, we are not Nazis or Astroturfers, or any of the other things that have you so upset now that we are finally speaking our minds.

We are decent, hard-working, moral and patriotic Americans who love this country and will no longer sit back and be quiet while a bunch of immoral socialist fools try to  tear it asunder.

And if you are a liberal who is upset by our actions now, you haven’t seen anything yet.

When the 2010 elections roll around, you will see some CHANGE that WE can believe in!

Liberals Have Given So Much To America

Liberals have given a lot of things to America.

And many people are starting to realize a lot of their contributions are things no one really wants.

Maybe it was electing a man who is trying to keep his campaign promise of fundamentally changing America, maybe it is the attempted takeover of our country’s health care system, trying to pass off the largest tax increase in human history as a means of curbing global warming, it doesn’t really matter what started it.

The tide is slowly starting to turn against all of you who support liberalism.

For years, you liberal loonies have been trying to turn America into some sort of a socialist utopia, while at the same time disparaging everything that has made this country great.

And for years, those of us who are vehemently opposed to everything you stand for simply stood back and kept our mouths shut, and our thoughts to ourselves.

I am not speaking of Republican vs. Democrat politicians debating each other in the halls of Congress.

Nor am I talking about political pundits in the media hurling accusations at each other.

I’m talking about everyday patriotic Americans, of which I am proud to be numbered amongst.

The days of you kumbaya-singing, Kool-Aid drinking nitwits is fast coming to an end.

And as I said earlier, you have no one to blame but yourselves.

For years, you have whined about inequality in America, when the fact is that more people live better in this country than they do anywhere else on Earth.
Where in the hell else in the world do you see people living in “poverty” that have televisions, microwave ovens and cell phones?

Of course, many of you bleeding heart hypocrites will cry about the injustice of our having so much while the rest of the world doesn’t.

If you feel that strongly about it, them give them what you have, because the rest of us are sick to death of you hypocrites trying to make us feel guilty about the things we have worked hard for.

Speaking of giving, just what have you given back to your own country, which, despite your best efforts, is still the greatest country the world has ever known?

You spread most of your propaganda through a mainstream media that wouldn’t understand the words “unbiased journalism” if they bit them in the ass.
(And your comrades-in-arms running these outlets are too brain dead to understand why they continue to lose market share.)
(I wonder if the tingle running up Chris Matthews leg will be a problem when he’s standing in the unemployment line.)

You give us a group such as Code Pink, who try and block the entrances to military recruiting centers, and call our brave men and women serving in the military “murders.”
(Note to Medea Benjamin: My often-repeated offer still stands. Come to where I live and try it.)

If that isn’t disgusting enough, then you present us with the certifiable mental cases from the Westboro Baptist Church, who try and disrupt funeral services for military members who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.
(A group of hatemongers who spend the rest of their time protesting who knows what outside of Christian churches as well as Jewish syangogues.)

Another of your gifts are traitors like Michael Newdow, who wants to bring a halt to the reciting of the Pledge of Allegiance in public schools because it contains the words “under God.”
(In spite of the fact that numerous polls have shown that 92% of Americans believe in God. You other 8%, shut the hell up.)

Then we have a god you do believe in,  Michael Moore.
Another liberal slob who wouldn’t know the truth if it bit him in the ass. And his would be hard to miss.
(Someone want to break the news to Michael that if it weren’t for Capitalism, he be scrounging for doughnuts from a dumpster?)

Speaking of fat obnoxious slobs, let’s not forget Rosie O’Donnell.
Another hypocrite who at one time raised hell with Tom Selleck for being a member of the NRA.
While Rosie herself doesn’t go anywhere without armed bodyguards.
(Although I’m sure one of the guards has his holster filled with what she really wants.)
(Cupcakes.)

Many of you pray at the altar of your global-warming guru, Al Gore.
You take as gospel the climate predictions of a man with absolutely no scientific training.
(Yet none of you questions him about living in a mansion that has one of the biggest ‘carbon footprints” of any private residence in America.)

Of course, we have saved the best for last.

You elect a man who promised us the most “transparent” and “ethical” administration in history.

Who then filled his administration with tax cheats, avowed communists, 9-11 conspiracy nuts, a man who ignores a case of homosexual statutory rape, another who advocates forced sterilization, and the list goes on and on.
Someone who wants to pass health care NOW, but thinks that doing something about troops dying in Afghanistan needs further study.
If this is the fundamental CHANGE we were promised, I’ll go back to the old way, thank you very much.
(And all of you are so morally bankrupt that we can’t remark about the style of his shoes without being labeled as racists.)

It’s all been a part of the liberal culture war.

Well , we hope you enjoyed the ride while it lasted.

Because now it’s our turn.

We didn’t ask for this war, but when it comes to the hearts and minds of America, we sure as hell plan on winning it.

Conservatives for years have given things for America, we are now taking a new direction in fighting for America.

The bottom line is that what liberals have done when it comes to conservatives is best summed up in a quote attributed to a Japanese military leader.

The White House Declares War On Both Fox News AND Congress

In it’s latest childlike maneuver, the White House attempted to exclude Fox News from a press pool interview of White House “Pay Czar” Kenneth Feinberg.

The Treasury Department attempted to make Feinberg available to all of that day’s participants in the pool except Fox News.

That scheme failed when the Washington bureau chiefs of the other five television networks taking part came to the conclusion that if Fox News was not included, none of them would conduct an interview with Feinberg.

The interview took place, with Fox participating, in spite of the fact that the White House did not want to invite them.

This is the sort of behavior one expects to see at a day-care center, not in our nation’s Capitol.

It appears that despite the White House urging the other major networks to boycott Fox News and not to treat them as a legitimate news organization, some members of the media still understand the meaning behind the words “a free and unfettered press.

Showing his usual disdain for a subject he does not want to be held accountable for, President Obama had this to say about his administration’s portrayal of Fox news as illegitimate:

“I think that what our advisers simply said is, is that we are going to take media as it comes,” 
“And if media is operating, basically, as a talk radio format, then that’s one thing. And if it’s operating as a news outlet, then that’s another. But it’s not something I’m losing a lot of sleep over.”

So rather than be kept awake at night by the questions raised by such Fox News commentators as Bill O’Reilly, Sean Hannity and Glenn Beck, our President would rather be lulled to sleep by the praises of such unbiased reporters as Chris Matthews, Keith Olbermann and Rachel Maddow.

Funny, but any time that I think of those three passing themselves off as legitimate journalists, it tends to keep me awake at night!

However, Fox News isn’t the only thing that President Obama is refusing to allow to interrupt his nap time.

Another is Congress.

The White House has told Congress it will reject calls for many of President Obama’s policy czars to testify before Congress.

The fact that Congress has a Constitutional mandate to investigate the actions of any Presidential administration is something else that the President is not loosing any sleep over.

In spite of the fact that not one of the multitude of “Czars” that President Obama has appointed has gone through any sort of Senate confirmation process, White House counsel Greg Craig told members of congress this week that none of the Czars would be made available.

Mr. Craig did explain that the White House is not attempting to circumvent Congress.

“We recognize that it is theoretically possible that a president could create new positions that inhibit transparency or undermine congressional oversight. That is simply not the case, however, in the current administration,”

In other words Congress, take our word for it.

Otherwise we may be forced to pull a Fox News on you.

How to Get Your Name On The White House Enemies List

You could get a job with Fox News.

That one is pretty much a no-brainer.

However, there are a multitude of other methods.

You could take part in a Tea Party event. (That way, not only will you make the enemies list, you’ll be a racist as well.)

You could be someone from a small town bitterly clinging to your guns and your religion.

According to Obama, if you oppose amnesty for illegal aliens you are a “demagogue.”

I almost forgot, again. if you are a Tea Party protestor, you are also part of an “angry mob” as well as being a potential terrorist.

If you oppose underhanded, backroom Chicago-style wheeling and dealing, you probably will make the cut.

You could be a “dishonest and partisan” Republican who opposes his health care plan.

And if you don’t fall into any of those categories, don’t despair, there are many ways to get yourself listed as an enemy of Obama.

You could be a capitalist, a pro-lifer, a supporter of the Second Amendment, a global-warming skeptic, one of those “Drill Here Drill Now” people, even something as simple as being a patriotic American can help you make the grade.

The President has also said that “I don’t want the folks who created the mess to do a lot of talking.”

So if you don’t want your name on Obama’s enemy list, you better keep your mouth shut.

Some members of Congress seem determined to make the list, despite our advice.

Speaking about the White House call for a boycott of Fox News, Representative Jason Altmire had this to say:

“I think it’s beneath the White House to get into a tit for tat with news organizations.”

While America faces a growing list of problems, Representative Eric Cantor complained about the loss of focus while the White House “bickers with a cable news network.”

I can hear President Obama now:

Axelrod! Put their names on the list!

Naturally, this is not the first time in world history that a nation’s leader has kept an eye on anyone who speaks out against him.

Just a few of the people from the past who kept the same sort of list that Obama seems to be patterning his on were such fair-minded individuals as former paranoiac-in-chief President Richard Nixon, Vladimir Lenin, Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin, and, last but not least, the personal favorite of White House Communications Director Anita Dunn, one her favorite political philosophers, Mao Zedong

A few of you are feeling pretty smug right now, thinking that currently,  only in America, the land of opportunity, could someone from any walk of life get their name on their country’s leader’s enemies list.

Sorry to break this to you, but President Obama is far from being the only world leader who keeps a list of those who dare oppose him.

Some of the others are:

North Korea
Iran
Cuba
Equatorial Guinea
Saudi Arabia
Liberia
Sudan

The leaders of these countries, along with President Obama, keep track of anyone who doesn’t care for the way they do things.

I wonder what George Orwell would have to say about this?

Gun Ownership As A Cost Of Health Care Reform

The National Institute Of Health (NIH) recently began studying the relationship between gun ownership and health issues.

At one time, this sort of research was done by the Centers For Disease Control (CDC) until Congress cut funding for the program, after it was found that the flawed research done by the CDC was shown to be biased against gun ownership.

Since it has been ten years since the CDC lost it’s funding for this program, why is there suddenly renewed interest in this type of research?

Some of us, (myself included) see this as yet another backdoor ploy by the “gun grabbers” in Congress and the Obama administration for yet another attack on the Second Amendment.

They will tout the implementation of stricter gun control laws as a means of reducing health care costs, due to the reduction in violent crime that would be the result of additional restrictions on firearms ownership.

They will attempt to make their case by presenting statistics showing that gun violence causes health care resources to be spent in ways that could be better utilized in other areas.

Of course, many of the American public will fall for this gibberish, not realizing that it is simply another ploy by the Obama administration to drum up support for an increasingly unpopular health care reform bill, while having the added bonus of being an assault on Second Amendment rights as well.

However, anyone who, rather than simply believe what they are told, would take the time to study the relationship between gun ownership and it’s resulting effect on health care costs would find quite a different answer than what they would assume to be the case.
Anyone holding the opinion that less gun ownership would result in less violent crime and therefore less of a strain on health care resources would learn that just the opposite is the case.

There is a direct correlation between an increase in firearms ownership and a decrease in violent crime.

Several countries that have enacted some of the strictest gun control laws in the world have seen their rates of violent crime increase.

Great Britain, after enacting laws banning the private ownership of handguns, saw their rates of violent crimes more than double.

Australia, after banning the private ownership of nearly all types of firearms, has seen their rates of violent crimes increasing by an average of nearly thirty percent per year.

Turning closer to home, the story is much the same here in the United States.

A study done by the Institute For Legislative Action, a division of the National Rifle Association shows that a 2008 study, using statistics from research done by the BATFE, the FBI and other agencies shows that increases in gun ownership lead to reductions in violent crime.

For those of you who feel that a report from the NRA is bound to be biased towards gun ownership, take a look at this synopsis of a study done by Harvard University explaing how, when it comes to restrictions on firearms ownership leading to less violent crime, and therfore reduced health care costs, the Harvard study comes to the conclusion that Gun Control Is Counterproductive.

Along with a link to the original Harvard University study, this report also mentions the overturning of the ban on firearms ownership in our nation’s capitol, Washington D.C., an area that, in spite of some of the strictest gun control laws in America, also had one of the highest rates of violent crime.

Yet everyone promoting health care reform will claim the fewer firearms will result in less violent crime, and thus treatment funds will be saved.

When all of the evidence is to the contrary.

Oh well, when has lying ever bothered anyone in the Obama administration?

To them, it comes as naturally as breathing.

  

September Mass Layoffs Report

In September, employers took 2,561 mass layoff actions
involving 248,006 workers. Mass layoff events decreased by
129 and associated initial claims by 11,301 from August.
Year-to-date events and initial claims reached new program
highs at 23,745 and 2,410,208, respectively.

The national unemployment rate was 9.8 percent in September 2009, seasonally adjusted, little changed from 9.7 percent the prior month and up from 6.2 percent a year earlier. In September, total nonfarm payroll employment decreased by 263,000 over the month and by 5,785,000 from a year earlier.
