Obama’s Army: Join Today!! Meet The Civilian Defense Force Staff

August 31, 2009

“We cannot continue to relay only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we’ve set. We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well funded.”
Barack Obama, July 2nd, 2008

We are well aware that there are many members of the Kool-Aid Brigade that follow this website.

We here at the Freedom Medium, as well as the non-brainwashed members of our audience, would like you current or potential members of Obama’s Army to clear something up for us.

If America has managed to persevere for 233 years without having a President that has his own private Gestapo, why in the hell does Obama think we need one now?

Now we don’t expect that any of you Kool-Aid drinkers to seriously respond to that question, you people are so deluded that anything Obama says is good enough for you.

However, those of us that aren’t totally stupid would like to know, who is supposed to be in charge of this damn thing?

If it is a national civilian defense force, that means it wouldn’t be subject to any military oversight or control.

So just who will be giving the orders?

Last year, before the Presidential election, our friends at Students For America put together the following video.

And before you moonbats at ACORN, Organizing For America, and the rest of you mind-numbed robots try and shrug this off as being too far-fetched. take a close look at the ethics of some of the people Obama has appointed as Czars, members of his staff, cabinet members, etc.

Members Of Organizing For America Are As Dumb As A Box Of Rocks

August 30, 2009

On Friday, we published an article pointing out our take on a report that originated at World Net Daily on how Organizing For America was now paying recruits.

On Saturday we presented a little history lesson on what some people feel is the predecessor to Obama’s Civilian Defense Force, along with showcasing how the President has his own “astroturf” organization.

Today, we will continue this series with a report of just how tragic the members of Organizing For America really are.

Either that, or they have totally lost touch with reality.

Regardless of what side of the health care reform debate someone may be on, any sane and rational human being should agree that it is only logical to have some idea of the issue you are supporting before you pledge your support of it, or attend an event in order to present your point of view.

Sadly, such is not the case with these members of Obama’s Army, or as we here at the Freedom Medium call them, the Kool-Aid Brigade.

Watch the video:

The first man mentions that Organizing For America was formed by the White House and the DNC.
Does that make them an organized mob of astroturfers?
He states that he likes the “core principles” of the plan.
Yet when asked how the plan would be paid for, he mumbles someting about how “these are the core principles, I’m sorry, that’s all I can say”, and walks away.

The second member of Obama’s Astroturfers questioned reveals that he learned of the event in an e-mail from his Organizing For America supervisor.
He also, when questioned about who is going to pay for the health car plan gets a deer-caught-in-the-headlights look on his face, then tries to ignore the questioner, and finally replies “It’s in the bill, sorry, I can’t talk to you guys.”
Well son, if you are so sure that it’s in the bill, why don’t you simply answer the lady’s question?
And who told you that you couldn’t talk to anyone asking probing questions.
Did you lose your Constitutional right to free speech when you joined Obama’s Army?
He then goes on to make the claim that he is not talking because he is a summer intern.
What the hell does that mean?
Is it a requirement of being a member of Organizing For America that you must be a clueless, brainwashed idiot?

A summer, as in college student, intern?
What the hell school do you go to kid, Whatsa Matter You?

The third person mentions her friend’s medical bills, and how she can’t pay them in spite of having good health insurance and parents who both make a six figure income, and how it’s impossible for mom and dad to help because they put all of their kids through college.
Young lady, I am putting two kids through college right now, and my wife and I combined don’t make a six figure income!

Your friend needs to find health insurance that actually is good.
And her parents need to find a good financial advisor, or at least learn how to manage their money a little better.
If I had that sort of household income, I could pay a 35 thousand dollar hospital bill.
It might be a struggle, but it beats the hell out of asking the rest of America for charity.
Of course, I suspect that my having some personal pride and self-respect has something to do with those feelings.

So what sort of people comprise Organizing For America?

People who, when pressed for details either walk away, or state that they aren’t allowed to talk.

Then we have a poor misguided young lady who thinks that Obama’s plan is a better alternative to the health care insurance her friend has now, as well as overlooking the fact that parents making six figure incomes aren’t helping.

And while some Kool-Aid drinker is asking the woman asking the questions what right she has to be there, the young lady states that she would be willing to spend 50% of her income on taxes if it would mean everyone had health care.

And I think that she was the smartest person there.
Because she came up with the perfect solution for America’s “health care crisis.”

All of you who support Obamacare without having a clue as to what is in the bill, whip out your Organizing For America pledge cards, vow that you will give the government half of all that you earn in order to have government-run health insurance, and the entire problem is solved!!!

Just leave the rest of us the hell alone.

Gangs Of Activists From Organizing For America At Town Halls

August 29, 2009

(This is the first of two parts. If you enjoy this one, be sure to check back tomorrow, you will love part two. If you hate this one, be sure to check back tomorrow, you will really hate part two.)

Yesterday we reported on how Organizing For America, known to some of us as Obama’s Army, were hiring recruits at a very good rate of pay.

We also pointed out that members of what is possibly a forerunner of Obama’s Civilian Defense Force were being snuck into town hall health care meetings.

It seems as though we were a bit off the mark on that one.

They aren’t sneaking in, they are blatantly and openly campaigning for passage of Barack Obama’s health care reform bill!

Apparently the thugs from ACORN and the SEIU weren’t intimidating enough, so Obama had to call up the reserves.

So today we will show you proof of the actions of Obama’s Army, and some of their tactics.

This is being done on Obama’s behalf in spite of such intellectual giants as Barbara Boxer, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid, just to name a few, have called American citizens, American voters, such things as a “Brooks Brothers Brigade”, “Swastika armband wearing Nazis”, and “Astroturfers.”

The explanation for the Astroturfers term was that the folks voicing their concerns about the health care bill were not a true “grassroots” movement, but rather an “organized mob.”

Does this mean that Obama’s movement should be named after the green outdoor carpeting you buy at a hardware store?

Allow me to offer all of you members of the Kool-Aid Brigade a piece of advice.

You can call in Organizing For America, SEIU, Obama’s Civilian Defense Force, ACORN, and if all else fails the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, it isn’t going to silence us.

Despite the best efforts of some members of this administration to fundamentally change it, this is still The United States of America, and our voices will be heard!

Let’s look at this a little closer.

Back in April, we did a story about one of Organizing For America’s first pledge drives.
Watch the video of one of their first events, then we will offer an analysis:

This may seem too critical to some of you, but here a just a few of the glitches we found in this clip of one of Organizing For America’s first events.

1. At the beginning, the clip runs the statement “Featuring The Residence of Genesee County.
Shouldn’t the word be Residents?
I didn’t notice anyone asking a house or an apartment building for their opinion.
Some real rocket scientists worked on this one.

2. Take note of the man with the clipboard. He asks people to pledge their support for Obama.
Isn’t that somewhat similar to asking someone to take am oath of loyalty to Obama?
And really, what is the actual point of all of this stupidity?
250 million Americans are happy with the health care they have now, you think some signatures on a loyalty oath pledge card are going to change that?

3. It appears that the man with the clipboard is standing outside of a liquor store.
On second thought, maybe that’s appropriate.
After putting your name to one of these things, you might need a drink.

4. Someone will have to explain to us just what in the hell the last couple of minutes of the video have to do with the subject matter at hand.

Now, moving on, let’s take a look at Obama’s own “Astroturf” movement:

HMMM!

Dozens of people at a town hall event all holding the same signs.
If I were the suspicious type I would think that these people were part of an “organized mob.”

And the woman at the end gives us just another example of how swift these people really are.
You will notice that the man asking the questions asks her where she got the sign.
And she takes a closer look at it and replies “Organizing For America.”

And when the man asks her if that isn’t “astroturfing’, she replies that “we are a grassroots movement.”

Lady, if you have to look at the sign to see who gave you the sign, are you sure that the roots of the grass were even involved?

Be sure to check back tomorrow when we present proof that the members of Organizing For America, at least the ones at the town halls, are completly clueless.

Obama’s Civilian Defense Force Is Now PAYING For Recruits

August 28, 2009

We have done numerous articles outlining the activities of Organizing For America, an offshoot of the Democratic National Committee, OFA is also known as Obama’s Army.

On the surface, Organizing For America seems like a benign enough group, but once you do a little research you can’t help but question their agenda.

As a continuance of the campaign group Organizing for Obama, OFA members have been touring the country seeking to enlist support for President Obama’s policies.

For months they have been standing outside of shopping malls and conducting door-to-door campaigns asking people to sign pledge cards in support of the President’s policies.

And when we first learned of this, it struck us as a bit odd that a sitting President was looking for signature cards showing support for his ideas.

Apparently, we aren’t the only ones who feel that way.

Norm Sterzenbach, executive director of the Iowa Democratic Party, had this to say:
“Iowa has almost nonstop Presidential activity. But the idea of a sitting President continuing an organization is fairly unusual.”

What else is fairly unusual is a statement made by one of the leaders of what is supposed to be a simple grassroots political group.

Back in March, at the start of a pledge drive in Alabama, a leader of the event, Chris DeHaven, told his followers not to try and convert anyone who did not agree with what they were hoping to accomplish.

His words to his troops were:
“We’re not looking for a fight.”
” That will come later, after we have an army.”

Will Organizing For America become Obama’s Civilian Defense Force?

Our friends over at World Net Daily just did an article exposing how college kids are being recruited to join Obama’s Army.

Not only are these students being offered college credit, The DNC is also running help wanted ads on such sites as Craigslist offering people between 9 to 16 dollars an hour to lobby for passage of Obama’s health care reform bill.

This is the same DNC that has called people at town hall health care protests an “organized mob.”

Nancy Pelosi has called people voicing their concerns about this bill “Astroturfers wearing Swastikas.”

However, Robert Gibbs, to cite just one example, have called protesters “Organized and manufactured rage”, yet makes no mention of DNC operatives and SEIU thugs being snuck into these events through the backdoor.

These activities, along with a host of others, lead to a myriad of questions and we would welcome any rational answers from any and all members of Obama’s Army.

When before in the history of this country has a sitting President’s political party actively sought supporters on such a grand scale. even going so far as to run help wanted ads and offering to pay people?

Can someone contact Chris DeHaven and ask him to explain to us just what are the details of the fight he says is coming?
Just what the hell gives him the right to threaten anyone who doesn’t agree with the aims of his group?
Are you going to have Obama’s Civilian Defense Force to back you up in this fight, or are you going to become Obama’s Civilian Defense Force?

What is the real purpose of all of this?
It’s all fine and well to obtain someone’s signature on a pledge card that says they support the President’s health care bill, but unless that person has actually read the bill, what have you honestly accomplished?

The election is over, Obama won, why in the hell do you have to offer to pay people to be supporters?
Is it simply a new way of doing things, as many of you claim, or is it part of a fundemental CHANGE that most American’s wouldn’t put up with if they knew your real agenda?

How do you explain the presence of Organizing For America members at town hall health care forums?
What’s wrong, you don’t think that having thugs from the SIEU assault people is intimidating enough?

Liberals to this day denounce the actions of Joe McCarthy and the House Un-American Activities Committee.
How is the White House setting up an e-mail account for people to report anything “fishy” they hear about health care reform any different?

How do you explain press secretary Robert Gibbs tripping over his tongue when asked why people who had never submitted their e-mail address to the White House were receiving e-mails from Obama ally David Axelrod?
More McCarthyism?

Finally, let’s sum things up, and then we have one final question.

Many of the supporters of the President’s health care reform package will pass off the activities of Organizing For America as simply a way to counter some of the mis-information that conservatives are accused of spreading.

Let’s think about that one for a moment.

One the one hand, you have average citizens (not Nazis, sorry Ms. Pelosi) raising what to them are legitimate concerns regarding an overhaul of America’s health care system.
There are a few (very few) political pindits on network TV and talk radio asking questions and voicing their opinions on this topic.
All of these things are democracy in action, protected under the fundamental right of free speech.

On the other hand you have a President whose party holds the majority in both the House and the Senate, in fact the majority in the Senate is fillibuster-proof.
You have no major media outlets, print or electronic, asking probing questions about the President’s plan.
You have a database of over 13 million e-mail addresses of people who voiced their support for Barack Obama during his Presidential campaign.
You have millions of members in Organizing for America, and with the support of the Democratic National Committee, you are actively recruiting new members on a daily basis.
These supporters are running well-organized, nationwide campaigns to enlist support for the President’s agenda.

Yet with the odds weighted so heavily in the President’s favor, he is still facing stiff opposition.

So our final question is this:

If the President’s health care reform bill is the blessing for all American’s that he and his supporters claim that it is, couldn’t the paln simply stand on it’s own merits?

If I’m A Racist, So Are You!

August 27, 2009

One of the favorite claims of the Kool-Aid Brigade is that someone who doesn’t agree with President Obama’s policies must be a racist.

Perhaps the most famous (certainly the most outspoken) of the fearmongers making this ludicrous claim is Janeane Garofalo.

And her most well known line was about the people who showed up and voiced their displeasure at tea parties:
“This is about hating a black man in the White House. This is racism straight up.”

My response to Ms. Garofalo is:
“If I’m a racist, you’re an a**hole!

Lady, you have got to be the dumbest person drawing breath on the face of this planet.

First and foremost, I, tea party protestors, the town hall protestors, and millions of other Americans don’t have a problem with President Obama because of the color of his skin.

He is half white after all.

What we have a problem with are his socialist policies.

And for any of you reading this, if you truly want to get into a debate as to how his policies are socialist, we will be more than happy to take you on.

I think that the ink from all of those tattoos must be blocking the blood flow to Ms. Garafalo’s brain.

Otherwise, she might come to understand that most people aren’t as stupid as she is, or so narrow minded in their viewpoints.

If one doesn’t agrre with someone with different color hair, does that make them a hair racist?

If i disagree with someone taller than I am, does that make me height-phobic?

If I ask someone smoking in a public place to put out their cigarette, does that mean I foster an inbred hatred of tobacco farmers?

I thought that Jimmy Carter was as dumb as a box of wet hammers, yet I still eat peanuts.

Those of you with more common sense than the average houseplant can see where I’m going with this.

This racism crap is just that, crap.

It annoys the hell out of the members of the Kool-Aid Brigade when we disagree with one of the President’s policies, and they aren’t intellectually honest enough, with themselves or anyone else, to face the fact that because someone has a different viewpoint, it has nothing to do with the color of someone’s skin.

Therefore, I accuse any of you who claim that anyone who disagrees with the President of being a racist, of being racist yourselves.

And as long as we’re on the subject, watch the following video:

Did you take note as to her statement right at the end?
“Any female or person of color in the Republican Party is struggling with Stockholm Syndrome.”

You hold a mindset like that, and you have the unmitigated gall to call me a racist.

Hey lady, take the money you were saving up for your next tattoo and get some psychiatric counseling.

You blithering, left-wing idiot.

Obama Designates Sept. 11th As National Socialism Day

August 26, 2009

We don’t need to rehash the events of September 11th, 2001.

All true Americans have their memories of that fateful day, and remember it in their own ways.

As the anniversary of 9-11 approached, some pinhead member of Congress made a motion that the day be made a national holiday.

For once, common sense prevailed, once it was pointed out to this moron that it was not proper to honor the memories of the people who lost their lives that day with a day off from work and a backyard cookout.

Now President Obama has taken common sense and kicked it through the West Wing windows.

In another move toward creating the United Socialist States of America, the Obama administration wants to turn September 11th into a “National Day Of Service.”

Up till now, September 11th has been a day of reflection and rememberance of the nearly 3,000 people murdered in one single day by Islamic terrorists.

Now, the President wants it to be a day of global warming awareness, activism, food banks and voter registration drives.

Obama’s plans were outlined in a teleconference call with, among others, Lennox Yearwood, head of the Hip Hop Caucus.

Van Jones, Obama’s “green jobs” czar, appeared in a video on the official White House blog claiming that the “National Day Of Service will be chance “for people to connect, to find other people in your peer group who are passionate about repowering America but also greening up America and cleaning up America.”

Perhaps in the world of the Kool-Aid Brigade all of this makes sense.
Do a food drive, tell each other lies about “climate change”, and register some new members of Obama’s Army.

But why in the hell pick September 11th, one of the darkest days in the history of this nation, to do it?

Simple.

Because on that day, for the majority of Americans, their thoughts turn to the innocent men and women, going about their day to day lives, who died.
They think about the bravery of the first responders who made the ultimate sacrifice in trying to save people’s lives.
And more than a few of us are still filled with a terrible resolve to see to it that such a thing never happens again.

This scares Obama and his followers.

They don’t want people thinking about patriotism and love of country.
They don’t want people to think that terrorist attacks are still the number one danger facing this country.

I think that what amazes me the most about this administration is that every time I think that they have come up with the ultimate hair-brained, un-American proposal, they devise an even more outlandish plot.

Well, this September 11th you nitwits enjoy your National Day Of Service.
Sit around, hold hands and sing Kumbaya.

As for myself, as well as anyone else with any grip on reality, I will spend the day reflecting on what it truly means.

Obama Explains How He Wants To Eliminate Private Insurance

August 25, 2009

In the first video, Barack Obama, speaking at an SEIU forum (the same group of thugs that intimidate and assault town hall protestors) explains how the “public option” will eliminate private insurance.
Don’t be fooled by his talk of “perhaps re-thinking” the public option provision.
He and his minions will still push for the public option, that claim is just a means of diverting your attention.

In the second video, Sean Hannity and Mark Levin offer their views as to why the left is so afraid of people who voice their opposition to Obama’s health care “reform” bill, and some of the tactics they use to try and silence those critics.

You Can See How Government-Run Healthcare Works RIGHT NOW!

August 24, 2009

This is for all of you, the town hall protesters that Nancy Pelosi calls Nazis, as well as all the (declining) members of the Kool-Aid Brigade.

I say declining members because just as when the Clinton’s tried ramming health care “reform” down our throats years ago, the more people learn of the details of this legislation, the people who support it grow less and less.

But I digress.

If you truly want to learn how well the government will run health care, you need to look no further than the Veterans Administration.

Pay a visit to a local VA hospital, talk to the patients, look around, and you will find that the level of (or lack of) services delivered will make you sick!

And if that doesn’t convince you that putting the government in charge of our medical treatment is a recipe for disaster, consider the following:

The leading liberal newspaper in the United States, The New York Times, reported a story of veterans at an Albany NY VA medical center who were subjected to experimental cancer treatments under the supervision of a man who was posed as a doctor, when in actuality he was not a licensed physician.
Calling Doctor Mengle.
Click Here to read the report.

Want to talk about a different kind of abuse?

Let;s consider the case of former VA doctor Robert Ratcliff, who, upon learning he was under investigation for defrauding the Department of Veterans Affairs, felt that he didn’t want to explain his actions, and before investigators closed in, purged all his records and destroyed his computer’s hard drive.
You can read more about that case here.

How about a surgeon with a history of alcohol abuse performing knee surgery while intoxicated, and botching the operation?
Does it give you some idea of the level of indifference to the patient’s well being it takes to have a hospital staff not stop a man from performing surgery while he is drunk?
You really think that something like this won’t happen under Obamacare?
Click Here to read about the drunk doctor.

Need some more proof that you are handing your health care over to disciples of the Doctor Of Death?
How about the deaths of over 100 patients of the VA due to botched colon, breast and prostate cancer experimental treatments  with the vets acting as human guniea pigs?
Read about it here.

Think you’ll receive a fair hearing (if you’re still alive) if something like this happens, or if you are denied treatment under Obamacare?
You have a better chance of seeing Nancy Pelosi and Rush Limbaugh splitting an ice cream sundae.
Veterans filing claims against VA hospitals see their claims rejected by a three to one ratio.
Read about it here.

Still think that under a government run program that you will receive, at the very least, adequate medical care?
Ready to bet your life on it?
Before you answer, read the story of one vet who compared his doctors to Mafia killers’
Calling Doctor Tony Soprano.

Are you willing to be treated by a doctor who, under government supervision, was responsible for the deaths of at least nine patients? And his supervisors continued to overlook his lack of credentials?
Not THAT guy. I don’t want to die!

If government run health care is such a good thing, explain the existence of the Veterans Affairs Whistleblower Coalition, after you have read their letter to the Chairman of the Veterans Affairs Committee.

Finally, I can speak from experience just how inefficent government run health care is.

My father, a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, had himself admitted to a VA hospital because he was experiencing pain and swelling in his legs.
He wound up being there for over three months, and when I would visit him he would remark about how it did not seem that the doctors there were doing anything for him, and their refusal to discuss his symptoms in any detail, a sentiment I heard echoed by the other vets in the ward regarding thier own health issues.

I never had the chance to learn why my father was discharged from the VA hospital.

Because on a Friday they decided to send him home.
And on Saturday he died.

Yes, reform of America’s health care system is needed.
And those of you not totally blinded by ideology should be at the very least concerned by the treatment that our country’s veterans receive before we rush to fix a system that really isn’t broken, just needs some fine tuning.

And you have to pause and ask yourselves that if the government has such problems with running a health care system that has been established for decades, maybe we need to slow down a little before we hand over even more decisions about our medical treatment to federal bureaucrats.

And for those of you who will claim that I am citing isolated incidents, if you can’t take off your rose colored glasses long enough to see that these are only a few cases of the neglect, fraud and incompetence that goes on, and that we need to slow down and make sure we get this right, think about this.

Those of us who want the government to start over and deliver sensible and effective health care reform have something in common (about the only thing) with the folks who advocate for stricter gun control laws:

“If it saves one life, it’s worth it.”

If The Health Care Reform Bill Doesn’t Kill You, IMAC Will

August 23, 2009

You have to give Barack Obama credit, he is going to get rid of those pesky old sick people come hell or high water.

Now that there has been such an uproar of his health care reform “death panel”, and that some of the terms of the Quality Adjusted Remaing Years (QARY) provision are being exposed, old swifty Barack has pulled another rabbit out of his hat.

IMAC, the Independent Medicare Advisory Council, which would give the government the power to determine “reasonable and (cost) effective” methods of medical treatment.

IMAC would place no restrictions on the government’s ability to “mandate coverage, reimbursment, cost-effectiveness”, etc. to any public or private payer.

Now, I don’t expect that any members of the Kool-Aid Brigade seeing this can be bothered by a dose of reality, but for the rest of you, click here to see the IMAC legislation now before Congress

Better start working the phones and fax machines people, if this thing passes it’s provisions go into effect within 30 days.

Otherwise, the next time you hear and old person say “I’m dying”, the next voice you hear will be:

“I’m from the government, and I’m here to help!”

Health Care Plan Denies Chemotherapy Treatments

August 22, 2009

President Obama and his fellow end-of-lifers in Congress continue to deny that their health care reform bill contains “assisted suicide” provisions.

They make this claim in spite of the bill containing QARY terminology.

QARY is an angel of death acronym for Quality Adjusted Remaining Years.

And what it boils down to is that how much money will be spent on an elder or disabled person’s medical treatment is going to be determined, not by that person’s doctor, but by a government panel which will determine if spending the money for treatment is justified based on an estimate of how many years of life that person has left.

I recently heard one member of the Kool-Aid Brigade make the statement that Congress would never allow such a thing to happen in the United States of America.

So how do all of these Josef Mengele death squad wannabes explain how the case of Barbara Wagner, who was told that the state would not provide funding for her chemotherapy, but would put up the funding for assisted suicide?

How would all of you Kool-Aid drinkers feel if this was your mother?

And how many of you are really stupid enough to believe that such a thing won’t happen under Obama’s plan?

How many of you supporting this boondoggle of a “reform” bill are really sure that you won’t watch a family member be denied treatment if it passes?

Are you sure enough to bet a loved ones life on it?
