DHS Is Not Invited To Terrorist Convention In Obama’s Hometown

Recently, nearly 500 members of Hizb-Ut-Tahrir held a convention in a Chicago-area Hilton Hotel.
Although not officially recognized as a terrorist organization by the State Department, many terrorism experts, one example of which is shown in the video appearing a little later in this article, consider them to be more of a threat to America’s security than al-Qaeda.
The man appearing in the video, Walid Phares, explains how Hizb-Ut-Tahrir trains youth between the ages of 9 to 18 in the ideology of “Khilafah”, which is a fundamental belief in the rule of Islamic law no matter what the means that may be taken to achieve it.
A spokesman for the group, Mohammad Malkawi claims that the group condemns terrorism in any form.
That statement would appear to be at odds with actions taken by some of the groups alumni, such as Khalid Skeikh Mohammed, the alleged plotter of the 9-11 attacks, to name just one.

Malkawi also made the statement that the objective of the group is”To create an Islamic state of Khilafah in the Muslim world.”
“The Muslim world.”
Last time we checked, Chicago was not the heartland of the Muslim world.
Of course, none of this will come as a surprise to our regular readers and subscribers.
Back in April, we reported on how Jihadist terror cells have been training right here on American soil.
We pointed out that there are at least 35 of these terror cells in our country, such as a 50 acre compound in Virginia, or another camp in New York that calls itself “Islamberg”.
We also made mention of reports revealing that al-Shabab, a radical Islamic group based in Somalia that has ties to al-Qaeda as well as Somali pirates were recruting young men from Minnesota to become part of their piracy network.
All of us are left wondering where is Janet Napolitano and the rest of the Department of Homeland Security while all of this is going on.
What sort of death and destruction will have to befall America before Ms. Napolitano and her crew at the DHS recognize that perhaps a convention of 500 supporters of a radical Islamic ideology, as well as numerous terrorist training camps scattered across America are the true “potential domestic terrorists?”

I meant to bring this up the other day. I am so upset by this. This took place minutes from my house. I am wondering where is homeland security on this one? This is insane..It makes me so angry that I nearly walked up to someone’s car the other day and ripped the two Obama bumper stickers right off.
This isn’t about freedom of speech or freedom to practice religion..these terrorist are using our constitution against us and doing it blatantly. We will be hit again and it will be from inside this country..What is Obama going to do about it?
I can say with certainty if Bush was still in office DHS would have been all over these guys like a monkey on cupcake..they would have been in custody already. About 3 years ago I lived in a 3 level single apartment building and I was the only tenet that had a house phone..below me lived a slew of Iranian’s brought in by Catholic Charities, every other week there were different people coming in and out of that apartment and every other week I received a call from DHS looking for someone. So trust me I see the threat and it is very real and in everyone’s backyard. Obama knows the threat as well yet he does nothing.. Today’s Homeland should be disbanded they are completely useless and a waste of tax payer money. I’m completely sick over this…
