Obama Justice Department Allows Black Panthers To Escape

Escape justice that is.

In the most recent example of a travesty of justice to come from the White House, the No. 3 official at the Obama Justice Department, Associate Attorney General Thomas Perrelli has called a halt to a civil complaint lodged against three members of The New Black Panther Party.

These three individuals had been accused of voter intimidation at a Philadelphia polling place during last November’s election.

Two of the NBPP members named in the complaint stood outside the polls wearing all black combat style outfits, brandishing nightsticks and issuing racial threats and racial insults.
A third member directed their activities.

Such actions are a direct violation of Section 11(b)) of the Voting Rights Act, which prohibits any type of threats, intimidation or coercion direted towards voters.

Yet in spite of this violation of the law, not only has the Obama Justice Department dismissed the charges against these men, they are actively stonewalling any effort to learn why the charges were dropped.

When members of Congress asked why the case was dismissed, the justice department official refused to answer claiming that the information was “priviliged.”

Representative Frank Wolf has said that he has been prevented from meeting with the lawyers who originally brought the charges against the members of the Black Panthers that were involved in these confrontations.

Rep. Frank also publicly asked “If showing a weapon, making threatening statements, and wearing paramilitary uniforms in front of polling station doors does not constitute voter intimidation, at what threshold of activity would these laws be enforceable?”

Excellent question Congressman.

Just don’t hold your breath waiting for an answer, a response to questions as to why the Obama Justice Department would drop charges against members of the Black Panthers must be outside of President Obama’s pledge of transparency in government.

Health Care Bill Will Provide Option Of Who To Kill First, Baby Or Grandma

House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer recently told reporters that a public option for government funded abortions would be part of the final health care reform package.

Not all Democrats, however are washing down their cookies with Kool-Aid.

Nineteen ”Blue Dog” Democrats warned House Speaker Nancy Pelosi that they would not vote for any health care reform bill that either mandates government coverage for abortion or allows the Health Benefits Advisory Committee to recommend abortion services be included under covered benefits or as part of a benefits package.

The provisions that the more liberal members of Congress are advocating would cause taxpayers to be forced to pay for abortions for the first time in over thirty years.

For a few years after the passage of Roe v Wade, low income women were able to use Medicare funds to pay for abortions.

This practice came to a halt in 1976 when Congress passed the Hyde Amendment, putting an end to this practice.

In 1980, a case came before the Supreme Court challenging the Hyde Amendment, and it was upheld by the court, whose statement declared that a distinction could be made between abortion and “other medical procedures, because no other procedure involves the purposeful termination of a potential life.”

Sonia Sotomayor, I hope you are paying attention.

Because if the pro-death members of Congress manage to get their way, I sure you will be hearing about it.

While we are on the subject of pro death:

Section 1323 of the version of the health care reform package currently before the House refers to the creation of a government run “Advance Care Planning Consultation.”

The title sounds innocent enough, until you reach page 425 and learn that health care providers would be required, under federal law, to provide Medicare patients with counseling regarding the benefits and drawbacks of “artifically administered nutrition and hydration”, and other end of life treatments.

Are all of you who voted for these murderers-by-proxy really ready to hear this conversation between a physician and an elderly family member:

“Mrs. Smith, you have already lived a long and happy life. Are you sure you want me to hook up this I.V.?”

Now before anyone starts to complain that Obamacare is discriminatory, you folks with family members facing other challenges such as mental retardation, Alzheimer’s disease and the like havn’t been left out.

White House Chief-Of-Staff Rahm Emanuel has seen his brother, Dr. Ezekiel “Angel Of Death” Emanuel appointed to a high-level position as a member of Barack Obama’s health care reform team.

And Ezekiel has you folks covered.

He has stated that “Medical care should not be given to those who are irreversibly prevented from being or becoming participating citizens. An obvious example is not guaranteeing health services to patients with dementia.”

I hope all of you Kool-Aid drinkers are feeling better now.

An Update On Obama’s Army

Yesterday, we received a comment on one of our articles about Barack Obama’s Civilian Defense Force, or as we here at the Freedom Medium call it, Obama’s Army.

The writer took issue with the fact that we speculated that perhaps this force would be used to carry out tasks that the military refused to do because perhaps the orders they would receive they would consider to be unconstitutional.

We had also provided a link at the end of the article to the White House website that outlined the requirements (at that time) of the program, and the person leaving the comment also stated that they found nothing on the White House website that made mention of this force being used to do anything that would be against the Constitution.

Before we get into this, let’s have a recap of President Obama’s statement on this topic:

“We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well funded.”

We are going to address things somewhat out of order, and talk about the link to the White House website first.

The folks running the White House website are a bit more clever than some people give them credit for, and are not going to spell out violations of the Constitution.
In it’s original wording, the change.gov website announced the President’s  proposal for requiring 50 hours of community service in middle school and high school, and 100 hours for each year a young person was attending college.
The wording was later changed to “setting a goal for service.”

You may ask where does the unconstitutional part enter the picture?

It is our opinion that requiring any American citizen not subject to a military draft to perform a set number of hours of community service at the behest of the federal government is in violation of the 14th Amendment to the United States Constitution:

“All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside.
No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.”

If individual states aren’t allowed to do this, the federal government sure as hell isn’t.

Which brings us back to our speculation that perhaps the members of Obama’s Army would be called upon to perform taks that the military would consider unconstitutional.

And no, we are not a group of conspiracy theorists who take turns trying on each others tinfoil hats.

However, the question remains as to why do we need a civilian defense force that’s “just as powerful, just as strong” as America’s military?

One possible answer is that, unlike the members of America’s Armed Forces, Obama seeks to put together a group that is just as powerful as our military, yet whose members have not taken an oath to support and defend the Constitution of the United States.

Birthers Versus Baby Killers

The folks who take offense against anyone who questions the legitimacy of the document Barack Obama claims is his birth certificate have hung the moniker “birthers” on people who raise such questions.
By and large, the people raising these question are conservatives, who are Pro-Life and anti-abortion.

We have written a few articles on this subject since World Net Daily broke the story of Major Stefan Cook, who had his orders to deploy to Afghanistan revoked when he questioned if Obama was eligible to be Commander-In-Chief caught our attention.

However, our interest in this topic is focused primarily on the possible constitutional crisis that may result is Obama is found to be ineligible to hold the office of the Presidency.

The folks suggesting the word “birthers” as an appropriate title are obvious Obama supporters, therefore it is only a logical conclusion that they follow a liberal political persuasion.

And the overwhelming majority of liberals consider themselves to be pro choice.

Consequently, in a spirit of fairness and bipartisanship, we propose that in the future, liberals, (who support abortion), henceforth be called baby killers.

After all, that’s what they are.

The title “pro choice” is an oxymoron.

What choice does the fetus have?

Can any of you liberal “pro choice” folks deny the fact that if a woman becomes pregnant, and if all other things are equal, the end result will be that a baby will be born?

Therefore, if that same woman has an abortion, she has in effect killed a baby.

So the baby killers title is appropriate.

Numerous web sites will continue to carry the argument regarding Obama’s birth certificate.

And the loudest voices will be heard from Obama supporters.

However, it’s ironic that these same people will also support a “health care reform bill” that would seek to withhold medical treatment from “those who are irreversibly prevented from being or becoming participating citizens.”

Many of these same people are demanding that abortion funding be included in the health care bill.

So they support what would , in effect, be state-sponsored euthansia, while at the same time demanding funding so that even more babies can be killed.

One of our subcribers summed it up best:

“That’s the difference between us and them.”
“Conservatives value all human life, from conception to death.”

Obama’s Approval Ratings Continue To Slide

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Sunday shows that 29% of the nation’s voters now Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Forty percent (40%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -11. That’s the first time his ratings have reached double digits in negative territory.

These updates are based upon nightly telephone interviews and reported on a three-day rolling average basis. I Can’t See Through Obama’s Transparency

Dear President Obama:

If America does end up getting saddled with this “health care reform” package, I hope there is a provision that will allow me to get some really strong glasses.

Because I am really having a difficult time seeing through the transparency of your White House.

And it has to be poor eyesight on my part, since I plainly remember during and after the campaign promising the following:

My Administration is committed to creating an unprecedented level of openness in Government. We will work together to ensure the public trust and establish a system of transparency, public participation, and collaboration. Openness will strengthen our democracy and promote efficiency and effectiveness in Government.”

Thank God that I remembered that statement, for a while there I thought I was becoming delusional.

Which would have been a real problem in that the people drafting your health care reform bill don’t consider dementia as a condition that should be covered.

However, I still have a problem.

Mr. Obama, I recall you pledging that any piece of legislation that lands on your desk would be available on the internet for people to examine for at least five days before he signed it into law.

I developed carpal tunnel syndrome trying to find the economic stimulus bill, to no avail.

And after my internet service provider explained to me that they were not part of a vast right-wing conspiracy blocking my access to it, we are now on speaking terms again.

Then I remembered how, during the campaign, you berated the Bush administration for not making available to the public a visitors log of who was going in and out of the White House to discuss ongoing legislation negotiations.

That one is understandable, with a bill that’s a thousand pages long you may have used up your supply of ink pens.

Then it hit me.

You pledged that the health care bill drafting process would be covered on C-Span!!!

I didn’t want to yell at my satellite television provider because my C-Span channel wasn’t airing live coverage of the health care negotiations, so I thought that rather than going through the same thing I did with my internet provider, I’d climb up on the roof and adjust the dish myself.

I admit that doing it during a thunderstorm probably wasn’t the best course of action, but I really didn’t get hurt that badly when I fell off of the roof, (luckily I grabbed onto the dish and it broke my fall) and the burns I received when I got struck by lightning are healing nicely, thank you.

Regardless, something this still not right.

I know my internet connection is OK.
My satellite dish  (after they put up a new one) is working properly.

Even the infection I got  when the rabid squirrel who was living in my attic bit me when I went up there to find an old VCR to tape the C-Span coverage on is clearing up.

My doctor says it’s even money that I will recover full use of my right arm.

But things still aren’t right.

Internet, OK.
C-Span is coming in loud and clear.

Yet I still don’t see the transparency that you promised to the American public.

I still don’t see the things you promised coming true.
It must be a problem with my vision.

So, as part of your health care bill, do you think you could add a provision that will allow me to get glasses so that I can see the things you promised?

Just please to be sure to allocate enough funding.

Because glasses powerful enough to allow someone to see you keeping the promises you made are bound to be very expensive.

Obama Gives In To Lobbyists

Aren’t power lunches and conference calls restricted by that statement?
Apparently not in Obamaland.)

In a significant change, the Obama administration will now allow lobbyists to meet and have telephonic discussions with government officials regarding economic recovery projects.

The lifting of the ban comes after K Street has cried foul for months and has challenged the White House on its restrictions.

In March, President Obama announced that government officials would not be allowed to consider the views of lobbyists regarding specific stimulus projects unless the requests are put in writing. Blue Dog Democrats Are Barking

And I doubt he changed many minds with his TV appearance the other night.
When the members of your own team don’t agree with the plays you are calling, you’re in trouble.

Although he did manage to offend a large number of members of law enforcement.)

House Democrats feuded openly over health care Friday before shaking hands on a deal that guaranteed only that they would keep negotiating, wrapping up a week in which consensus on a sweeping overhaul of the nation’s health-care system seemed to diminish by the day.

Barack Obama Appoints Doctor Death As Health Care Czar

My health took a turn for the worst when I learned that Obama has appointed Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel to a top-level position as one of his top-level advisors on health care reform.

Yes, he is the brother of White House Chief-Of-Staff Rahm Emanuel.
What’s that you say?
Neopotism?
How dare you!
Obama promised us the “most ethical administration in history.”

Regardless, Dr. Emanuel seems to be a graduate of the Jack Kevorkian Medical School.

You may remember Kervorkian as the doctor who gained notoriety for assisting terminally ill individuals commit suicide, as well as being an advocate for legalizing euthanasia.

And Dr. Emanuel would make Dr. Kervorkian proud.

He has made the claim that “Medical care should not be given to those who are irreversibly prevented from being or becoming participating citizens. An obvious example is not guaranteeing health services to patients with dementia.”

So if you have an elderly family member suffering from Alzheimer’s or a child diagnosed with Downs Syndrome, the hell with both of you according to Dr. Emanuel’s position.

By all appearances, as far as he is concerned you can push them off into a corner of the room, because the government won’t be wasting any resources on them.

He also discriminates against older patients.

He believes that “Unlike (health care) allocation by sex or race, allocation by age is not discrimination.”

So if you are young and healthy, under Obamacare you’re in good shape.
However, if you are a bit older and require a bit more care, well, it sucks to be you.

“Doctors take the Hippocratic Oath too seriously as an imperative to do everyting for the patient regardless of the cost or the effects on others.”

This may become a commonly heard doctor-patient conversation:

“Sorry Mrs. Smith, we probably could have gotten your husband back on his feet and he could have lived another dozen happy and productive years, but you folks have reached the limit on your Obamacare debit card.
And after all, let’s face it, he was what, sixty?
And now I will have to ask you to excuse me, I have a 25 year old waiting to be treated for a sunburn.” 

Something in the back of my mind was nagging at me that somewhere I had read of another so-called “medical man” like Emanuel and Kervorkian who thought that the critically ill and the mentally disabled were beneath contempt.

Then I recalled the name of a “doctor” who “practiced” at a place called Auschwitz.

His name was Josef Mengele.

Obama Declares war On The Middle Class

(I wish some of these millionaire liberals who want to tax everyone to “help out the less fortunate” would send me a few bucks.)

Like a PacMan gobbling up everything in sight, going after folks making more than $250,000 a year is not enough to satisfy Obama’s insatiable appetite for money and power. He wants more. Although it means breaking a campaign promise to only tax the “rich,” Obama’s mad rush for revenue to fund his social engineering has transformed his agenda into a war against the middle class.

While Obama rides his luxury 747 around the globe, glad-handing with other world leaders discussing “healing the planet” and other grandiose plans, the average American is struggling to find work. As Michelle Obama totes around a $6,000 Italian alligator-skin clutch, the only thing most Americans are “clutching” is their wallets, trying to figure out how to get by this month.
