The Wall Street Journal Has Some Questions For Sonia Sotomayor

Regardless of you feelings for President Obama’s politics and policies, you have to give him some credit for one thing.

And that is having someone on his staff who was sharp enough to convince him that nominating Sonia Sotomayor for the Supreme Court was a slam dunk.

Barack Obama has put the Republicans in Congress in an almost impossible situation.

Any probing questioning of Sotomayor by members of the GOP will be be portrayed by the Democrats, as well as the mainstream media, as bias against a Hispanic female.

Democrats will also exploit any opposition to Sotomayer as a means of turning Hispanic voters against the GOP.

However, there are those of us who feel that Sotomayor should simply receive a rubber stamp confirmation to the highest court in the land, and Neomi Rao of the Wall Street Journal is one of them.
