On the “Obama Effect” article, I’ve been saying this since the first day; “can it be a coincidence that the Iranian people are standing up to their government, and that Iran neighbors Iraq and Afghanistan have young democracies that are growing in strength by the day?” I don’t think so. I believe what is happening in Iran is very much influenced by the “George W. Bush Effect.” Of course the press would never give a once of credit to G.W. It’s biggest influence however I believe is the yearning every human being has for Liberty.
On that note, the Iranian people are going to loose their war if no one in world is willing to stand up for their inalienable rights. Who are we, if we are no longer the beacon of liberty, the shining city on the hill or the moral compass of the world. We need to show the Iranian people the way so they can take their country back from the Terrorists that keep them in the grip of tyranny.
