The Keep Terrorists Out Of America Act

One of President Obama’s first acts was his statement that he planned to close Guantanamo Bay, where the U.S. has been holding terrorists.
He seems to have forgotten to mention just what he plans on doing with these people once Gitmo has been closed down.
And before I go any further, I want to ask those of you who support Obama’s plan something, and you need to be honest with yourselves.
If you were to learn that some of the prisoners now being held at Gitmo were to be moved to a facility close to where you live, how comfortable would you be with that decision?
Yes, I realize that a lot of you feel that it never has been proven that these people really are terrorists, but are you willing to put the safety of yourself and your family at risk?
I’m not.
And neither are some members of Congress.
Representative Pete Hoekstra has recently introduced the “Keep Terrorists Out Of America Act”, aimed at preventing the individuals now housed at Guantanamo Bay from being moved to the U.S.
If you don’t care to see people who are hell-bent on killing Americans living in your backyard, watch the video, and then click on the link below it to make your members of Congress know how you feel.
