Global Warming May Be A Blessing In Disguise

So I’m sitting here watching television, listening to one of these “climate change” fanatics preaching about how we have to reduce greenhouse gas (CO2) emissions or the planet is doomed!

And it got me to thinking.
What’s the biggest producer of carbon dioxide?
The answer of course is cars and trucks.
Well, there is no way we can give those up.

Second biggest? Probably people.
You emit carbon dioxide each time you exhale.
Trouble is, I don’t think even Al Gore’s most ardent supporters would think much of killing every living being on the planet in order to save it. Although you never can be sure with his disciples.

Third biggest? Power plants.
Now stay with me here.
If the Earth was to warm up a bit, these plants would be running less during cold weather, and thus putting out less CO2.
Of course during the spring and summer, things would be hotter, and folks might tend to run their air conditioners more.
But this would be offset by people staying indoors to keep out of the heat, thus they would be driving less, thus producing less CO2.
And of course because it’s hotter outside, fewer people would be engaging in strenuous outdoor activities, activities that tend to make them breathe harder than normal.
Again, less CO2.

I wonder why a genius such as Al Gore never thought of this.
